A video making its rounds online in Malaysia shows how a driver in George Town, Penang, deals with a “road bully”.
The incident, which took place on Thursday afternoon according to George Town police, shows a motorcyclist knocking a car’s window with his helmet.
The motorcyclist later stops his bike and and runs towards the car with his helmet in a “provoking and attacking manner”, said police.
The car then hits the motorcyclist, who falls.
On Facebook, there are many who applauded the driver’s decision, but also many who disagreed.
“Wake up, reality is not GTA,” wrote one, referring to violent racing game Grand Theft Auto.
“A helmet can’t break a car, this lady driver is wrong ….” wrote another.
“You want to become a murderer just because a motorcyclist hit your car with helmet? What she should do is to call the police, not ram him like that and run away.”

Motorcyclist who tried to attack couple in car identified
GEORGE TOWN: A 46-year-old insurance agent who was driving his wife to pick up their child from school was shocked when a motorcyclist rushed towards their vehicle with a helmet.
A 1.26min-long video, which went viral, showed the motorcyclist removing his helmet and charging towards the car aggressively.
Seeing this, the agent accelerated his car and hit the motorcyclist.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the incident took place at about 3pm on Thursday.
“The car took a turn from Jalan Air Itam to do a U-turn to Jalan Datuk Keramat when the motorcyclist knocked on the window on the passenger side.
“The motorcyclist tried to hit the car again but the driver dodged and decelerated the car.
“The motorcyclist rode ahead and stopped his machine by the roadside.
“When the vehicle approached the motorcyclist, he took off his helmet and ran towards the vehicle in a provoking and attacking manner,” said ACP Mior.
“The car then hit the motorcyclist who fell on the road.
“The agent then drove his car, without stopping, to the police station to lodge a report,” ACP Mior said at the George Town district police headquarters in Jalan Patani yesterday.
“The suspect has been identified,” he added.
