Former M’sian PM Mahathir Mohamad plays himself in movie debut
M’sia’s former prime minister makes big-screen debut

At the age of 90, Malaysia’s former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad can add “movie star” to his long list of achievements.
In September, the politician will make his big screen debut, playing himself in Malaysian movie Kapsul.
Opening in theatres across the Causeway on Sept 17, the historical sci-fi movie highlights the struggles and determination of the Malays in Malaysia prior to its independence.
