At least, the touts get you a seat in some bus, for a much bigger sum, and you get home for Raya. Hopefully.
Owners and operators of express bus companies have their own cars, so they don’t understand the problems the rakyat face in returning home for Raya. For them, it’s all about ringgit and sen.

20pc Hari Raya toll discount for DUKE users
KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 — Users of the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) will enjoy a 20 per cent toll discount if they use the electronic payment method in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebrations this year, compared to 10 per cent for the same period last year.
“The discount period is from 11.59pm on July 16 to 12.00 midnight on July 17,” the company said in a statement.
It will also be offering special DUKE edition Touch ‘n Go electronic payment cards for RM5 each to the first 30,000 customers. — Bernama

IJM Toll Division operation chief operating officer, Wan Salwani Wan Yusoff said the discount would be given from 12.01 am until 12 midnight on that day.
