KUALA LUMPUR: Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) had more their hands full after a man turned up at their emergency ward with a metal ring stuck around his scrotum.

Doctors had to call in the Fire and Rescue Department to assist them in removing the ring from the man’s private parts.

KL Fire and Rescue Department operations director Azizan Ismail said officers received a call from HKL, requesting assistance to remove a ring stuck to a man’s scrotum at about 3.45pm.

Officers arrived at about 4.20pm to give assistance and had to resort to industrial tools like pliers, and even a tongue depressor to hold his manhood in place as the delicate but awkard removal process proceeded.

The movie gets an R rating in the United States for “strong sexual content,” “graphic nudity” and “unusual behavior.”

It is banned in Malaysia where the head of the censorship board called the film “more pornography than a movie.”

“The board made a decision in view of the film containing scenes that are not of natural sexual content. The content is more sadistic, featuring scenes of a woman being tied to a bed and whipped,” Abdul Halim of the censorship board.

Singaporeans reveal what they think about ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ — and it’ll make you blush

Fifty Shades Of Grey introduced her to the world of erotic fiction.

Miss Tess Halim, who calls herself a “professional reader”, reads more than 100 such books a year, reviewing and promoting them within an international online book circle that includes both authors and readers. It all began when she picked up a copy of the EL James novel in 2012 and became a big fan.

Miss Tess, who actively connects with other fans internationally via Facebook, was among the first in Singapore to watch the highly-anticipated R21 movie adaptation starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

It doesn’t take a genius to realise that Christian Grey is a domestic abuser

Embedded image permalink

If you knew someone who was dating someone who did any of the things he does to Anastasia, wouldn’t you tell them to run?

I first stumbled upon Fifty Shades of Grey when I was 18, and almost immediately saw its central relationship for what it really is: domestic abuse. But even three years later, when I tell people this, they say I’m too young to understand BDSM.

To see if they were right, I decided to do some research. What I discovered was that my age was irrelevant to my understanding of Anastasia and Christian’s relationship. The world of BDSM is one based on trust and respect, and is a world apart from the one depicted in Fifty Shades.

Would you be happy with a partner who micro-managed your life, dictated what you ate, what contraceptive you used, required you to exercise a certain amount of days a week, and cut you off from your friends and family? Add some good looks, a six pack and billionaire status and voila: you have Christian Grey.

Fifty Shades of Grey: London Fire Brigade live tweets embarrassing film-related call-outs

. on Twitter is the finest thing to come from Fifty Shades

Embedded image permalink

Spare a thought for the London Fire Brigade (LFB) in the midst of all this Fifty Shades of Grey hysteria.

But the LFB say they have had to deal with an increasing number of people getting certain things stuck in awkward places – a trend they also say started when the Fifty Shades trilogy was first released.

LFB has now launched its own campaign in response, cleverly entitled Fifty Shades of Red, to encourage the public “to think carefully before getting themselves into sticky situations”.

The fire brigade is so concerned about this apparent trend it decided to tweet some of the more unfortunate cases experienced by amorous couples they believe are a product of this Fifty Shades madness.

The overwhelming trend appeared to be men finding themselves stuck in penis rings.

Although some men also managed to get themselves stuck in more other unusual places.

Then there were the men who liked the idea of a challenge.

We’re not giving the location but he’s fine if a little bit sore. We used these to get it off 2/3

In 2010/11 we had no penis rings incidents. Then came out

Since April 2013 the capital’s fire crews have been called out to:

  • 28 incidents involving people being trapped in handcuffs
  • 293 rings removed including Seven instances of men with rings stuck on their penises

Brigade braced for Fifty Shades of Grey influence on call outs

12 February 2015

Fire chiefs are concerned the new Fifty Shades of Grey film(opens in a new window) could lead to more people being stuck or trapped in objects like handcuffs or rings.

In 2013/14, firefighters attended 472 incidents involving people being trapped or stuck, often in everyday household items. This has steadily increased year on year since the Fifty Shades of Grey books were release.

The Brigade started a campaign called Fifty Shades of Red, asking people to think carefully before getting themselves into sticky situations.

Despite the campaign’s worldwide coverage, the Brigade are still called to more than one embarrassing incident every day.

For example, in November last year firefighters came to the rescue of a man forced to undergo surgery to remove two metal rings that had been stuck on his penis for three days.

The man attended accident and emergency at a London hospital in the early hours but when doctors found they couldn’t remove the steel rings they called the Brigade. Two firefighters scrubbed up and removed the rings using pedal cutters – a hydraulic handheld piece of cutting equipment.

Since April 2013 the capital’s fire crews have been called out to:

  • 14 incidents involving children with their heads stuck in potties or toilet seats
  • 28 incidents involving people being trapped in handcuffs
  • 293 rings removed including Seven instances of men with rings stuck on their penises

Fire Brigade issues Fifty Shades of Grey warning about getting trapped in everyday objects

Fifrefighters braced for spike in calls following release of erotic film this weekend

8:27AM GMT 12 Feb 2015

The Fire Brigade is braced for a soar in calls from people stuck or trapped in objects such as handcuffs following the release of Fifty Shades of Grey in cinemas this weekend.

Fire chiefs have warned those wishing to emulate certain scenes from the film to “think carefully” before getting themselves into sticky situations.

They revealed that in 2013-14, firefighters attended 472 incidents involving people being trapped or stuck, often in everyday household items.

The figure has steadily increased year on year since the Fifty Shades of Grey books, by EL James, were released in 2011.

The London Fire Brigade has warned that it will be charting the most embarrassing call-outs on its Twitter feed, where it will also be offering safety tips.

The Brigade is running a campaign called Fifty Shades of Red, asking people to consider the potential consequences of their actions before getting themselves into compromising situations.

Fifty Shades of Grey Official Movie Clip #1 – Hardware Store (2015) – Dakota Johnson Movie HD

Find out why you might get strange looks if you buy some cable ties from B&Q this weekend

Leaked B&Q memo warns staff to expect a rush on rope, cable ties and masking tape due to Fifty Shade Of Grey Effect

Preparation for Fifty Shades of Grey Customer Queries

Staff at B&Q stores have been told to read Fifty Shades of Grey and prepare for a massive rise in demand for rope, cable ties and tape.

A leaked memo reveals that workers at the DIY chain have been asked to prepare themselves for “sensitive” customer questions about such products, which could be used in sexual role play.

The memo, circulated to the DIY store’s entire 20,887 workforce at 359 stores, is titled: “Staff Briefing – Preparation for Fifty Shades of Grey Customer Queries.”

It says copies of the erotic novel will be delivered to each store and can then be lent to staff on a one week basis.

Staff are urged to familiarise themselves with the book and to deal with any related queries in a “polite, helpful and respectful manner”.

Grey introduces Steele to the world of bondage and dominant sexual role play and both the book and the film include a scene in which he visits a hardware store to purchase rope, cable ties and tape.

STAFF BRIEFING

PREPARATION FOR FIFTY SHADES OF GREY CUSTOMER QUERIES

OVERVIEW

Following the film release of Fifty Shades of Grey, B&Q employees may encounter increased customer product queries relating to rope, cable ties and masking or duck tape. Store Managers should anticipate the need for extra stock and store staff should read the following brief to prepare them to handle potentially sensitive customer questions.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

On Saturday 14th February 2015 popular erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey will be released as a film and is expected to do well in the Box Office. Written by E.L. James, the story follows the relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young, successful business man, Christian Grey, who introduces her to the world of bondage and dominant/submissive sexual role play.

Preview footage depicts a notable scene from the book where Christian Grey visits a hardware store to purchase rope, cable ties and tape. Rather than bought for home improvement purposes, these products are intended to fulfil Mr Grey’s unconventional sexual pursuits.

WHY DOES IT AFFECT US?

As the UK’s leading DIY store, we stock many of the products featured in this notable scene and then used later in the film. When the book was released in 2012 DIY and hardware stores in the UK and US reported increased demand of certain products and queries from customers as they tried to recreate their own ‘Fifty Shades’ experiences. We need to be prepared for the same effect when the film is released this month.

B&Q’S POLICY

It is always B&Q’s policy that products should only be used for their designed purposes. Nevertheless, all staff should read this briefing notice to prepare for potentially sensitive customer enquiries and managers need to be aware of the implications that the film may have on stock levels.

STAFF BRIEFING

All staff are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the content of Fifty Shades of Grey by reading the novel or watching the film upon its release. Copies of the book will be delivered to each store and can be lent to staff on a one week basis. Understanding the storyline and how some products that B&Q stock feature in the film will better prepare staff for incoming queries.

Queries may be unusual and sensitive in nature but staff are reminded of B&Q’s commitment to assist customers in a polite, helpful and respectful manner. A level of discretion is also advised.

Store managers are requested to monitor stock levels of rope, cable ties, masking tape and duck tape to ensure that supplies do not run low. Fifty Shades of Grey is released in cinemas on Saturday 14th February 2015 and the busiest sales periods for these products are expected to run from Sunday 15th February to Sunday 1st March 2015 with a focus on weekend trading.

The date for the DVD and home entertainment release of Fifty Shades of Grey is yet to be confirmed but a second briefing may be issued closer to that time.

STAFF ARE ASKED TO KEEP THE CONTENTS OF THIS BRIEFING WITHIN THE COMPANY.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS RELATING TO THE CONTENTS OF THIS BRIEFING PLEASE SPEAK TO YOUR REGIONAL MANAGER.

Woman sues “Fifty Shades of Grey” author over ineffective lubricant

A California woman is taking virtually everyone involved in the promotion of a “Fifty Shades of Grey” personal lubricant to court, with a simple legal complaint: the product didn’t work as she was told it would. Which is to say, the product didn’t help her achieve mind-blowing orgasm after mind-blowing orgasm.

In a class action lawsuit filed last week, Tania Warchol claims the Fifty Shades of Grey Come Alive Pleasure Gel for Her, which she says she purchased “on at least two occasions,” didn’t live up to its promises.

Durex unveils ’50 ways to love’ game in Malaysia as Fifty Shades of Grey film is banned

Durex 50 Ways to LoveCondom brand Durex has launched a Valentine’s Day promotional game entitled ’50 Ways to Love’ in Malaysia just as “pornographic” film Fifty Shades of Grey has been banned in the conservative Southeast Asian country.

Launched on 1 February, an online game invites players to turn their “dream date into reality” with 50 different “inspirations” to celebrate their love with their partner.

Similarly to dating app Tinder, the player swipes right to say ‘yes’, they would like to try the suggested idea with the other player, such as writing sex-themed poetry or re-enacting a sex scene from a classic film.

If a player buys above a certain amount of Durex condoms while playing the game, they get a limited edition Valentine’s Day gift box.

SORRY ladies, if you are waiting to see “Fifty Shades of Grey” in the cinema this month, you’ll be disappointed – it has been banned by the Malaysian Censorship Board (LPF).

LPF chairman Datuk Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid said that the film was unfit for Malaysian audience, citing that the sex scenes featured were not “natural” and more like “pornography than a movie”, a local daily newspaper reported.

“The board made a decision in view of the film containing scenes that are not of natural sexual content,” he said. “The content is more sadistic, featuring scenes of a woman being tied to a bed and whipped.”
