WHEN LOVE TURNED TO HATE…he killed his wife before using the knife on himself.
WHAT HE WROTE IN HIS EMAIL BEFORE GOING OVER THE EDGE…
Yuan Ching Road deaths: Man sent email titled ‘Final Note’ to media on morning of incident http://bit.ly/1zscbaf
The lengthy email, which was sent to various newsrooms at 8.11am, had the subject header “Jurong Murder” and a headline “Final Note”. Shin Min Daily News reproduced the entire email.
In it, the man identifies himself as Ken Ong and writes about how he had been suffering and silently bearing his and his wife’s burdens, but in exchange, he “gets her lies, promises and betrayals”.
He said he had been living with his wife for 12 years but they were in the midst of a divorce. He talked about how he had gone back to study at the Building and Construction Authority and that it had been stressful, reports AsiaOne.
…
Ong also said that studying at 36 years old after stopping studies for about 18 years, and also having to compete with the elites from China to be top of the cohort, is not a joke. In the second half of his email, Ong wrote about his relationship problems with his wife and the divorce that he was going through.
He said he and his wife had mutually agreed to a divorce but things changed. He lamented about not being treated as a man, a husband, and not being allowed to be a good father to his son. He claimed that his wife was forcing him to accept her divorce terms.
…
Ong concluded by saying that he will “give the wife and maid what they deserve” and that “knowing and loving her was the biggest mistake of his life”. He also apologised to his son and blamed his wife for pushing him to the limit.

Yuan Ching Road deaths: Man sent e-mail to media headlined “Final Note” on morning of incident
SINGAPORE – The man involved in the Yuan Ching Road deaths on Friday morning had apparently sent an e-mail to the media detailing his grievances with his wife and the couple’s maid.
The e-mail had the subject header “Jurong Murder” and a headline “Final Note”. It was sent to various newsrooms which received it at 8.11am.
Police received a call for help at Park View Mansion at 7.56am. The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the incident at 8am, and dispatched three ambulances to the condominium.
When police officers arrived at 9D Yuan Ching Road, they found a 37-year-old Filipino maid injured and bleeding, with wounds to her face.
Shortly after, officers found a 37-year-old Singaporean man and his 39-year-old wife – a Malaysian permanent resident – injured inside a unit in the condominium.
It is believed that they had got into a dispute and their maid was injured when she tried to intervene.
All three were sent to the National University Hospital. The couple later died.
The lengthy e-mail was signed by a man who identified himself as Mr Ken Ong.
…
Mr Ong had shared the note on what appears to be his Facebook page as well. Previous posts on his account from as early as November last year suggested that he had intentions to do something drastic.
