Furious Kuala Lumpur Mayor says, “How dare you fill up OUR potholes!”

Here are two of the many potholes in Ipoh.

1.THIS HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A YEAR, AND IS NOW HALF THE WIDTH OF A BIG CAR!

It is found off Jalan Tasek, near Aeon Kinta City (along the road from Petron petrol station).

I no longer ride a motorcycle but when I did, potholes were dangerous. When you hit one, especially at night, you could fall off…right into the path of a car!

I didn’t fall off but on two occasions, I had an INSTANT puncture and had to push my motorcycle to the nearest tyre repair shop. Once, I pushed for 2 km.

What about hitting a pothole when driving? It could puncture your tyre. It happened to me twice this year. Each time, the tyre had to be changed due to the damage. That was RM165 each time. Not exactly a small price for me to pay because of the negligence of those responsible for filling in potholes, right?

2. THIS ONE IS FOUND IN THE TAMAN SYABAS AREA. There is another pothole GROWING on this same road…

If you avoid the puddle on the side of the road, you’ll hit the pothole with a resounding thud!

Take a closer look at the same pothole: in 1 month, it has grown three times in size! It is now twice the width of a car tyre.
