US governor tweets racy photo, apologises for user error
The tweet was quickly deleted after it mistakenly linked to a racy photo. (Picture: Twitter)
In response, Precious Little tweeted that she had no personal involvement with politicians and was offended by the suggestion she was dominatrix.
“I don’t deserve to have my integrity or that of anyone I know questioned because of a stranger’s error,” she said.
“I’ve been happily engaged for years. I have infintely superior taste in men.”
Governor Jack Markell apologised shortly after one of his staffers tweeted the photo.
The governor had intended to publicise a public school funding initiative.
His office said it would have been nice if the accidental link had come up with something different.
“The lessons here are not to compose tweets too quickly and there is a lot of odd stuff on the internet,” the statement read.
“We just wish the accidental link had been a cat video.”
