Website offers RM16mil reward to find MH370

IndieGogo, a crowd funding website, has launched a campaign to raise US$5 million (RM16.065 million) through public contributions, which will be rewarded to any firm or individual which provides vital information leading to the discovery of the missing MH370 Malaysia Airlines flight.
The page for the donations will be launched today at 8pm in Malaysia, coinciding with the three-month mark since the flight disappeared from civilian radars on March 8.
In a statement, individuals who are launching the crowd funding move, said that a secure website will be launched on June 15, to handle all the submissions from members of the public regarding the location of the plane.
…
“The more (donations) we raise, the higher the reward will be, and the more encouragement for someone to come forward,” the statement said.
The team launching the campaign consists of several family members of those who were on the ill-fated flight and “individuals with specialist skills.”
…
“This mystery is unprecedented in the history of aviation, and we need to work as a collective community with one goal of finding the truth, the plane and the passengers,” said Ethan Hunt, the project leader.

The campaign is an initiative of family members from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, France and India, Bajc said, and does not involve relatives of passengers from China or Malaysia, whose citizens formed the majority of passengers on the flight.

BEIJING — Relatives of passengers on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 are launching a crowd-funding campaign to raise a $3 million reward for a whistle-blower to expose key information about the vanished jetliner, the partner of a missing passenger told USA TODAY.
A $2 million fund for private investigators to follow up on promising leads is also being targeted.
Almost three months after the plane disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, some relatives are frustrated by the failure of the official search to find concrete evidence about what happened, and in what manner, and say they are convinced authorities are concealing the truth.
“We are taking matters into our own hands,” said Sarah Bajc, a U.S. citizen whose partner Philip Wood, 50, an IBM executive from Texas, who was on the flight when it disappeared on March 8. “There is no credible evidence” the plane is in the southern Indian Ocean, where planes, boats and a mini-sub have searched in vain for weeks, she said.
“I’m convinced that somebody is concealing something,” said Bajc, 48, a business studies teacher in Beijing and former executive with Microsoft.

It’s a worthwhile cause but the site seems down. It involves a lot of spirituality and spiritual negotiations, probably just like the Memali incident that took 300 lives in the 80s in Kedah. See link above. The cues that God or al-Lah is involved are glaring.
