Woman MP to Najib: Drop Bung Moktar as candidate in GE14
KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional chairman Najib Razak should not renominate Bung Moktar Radin for a seat in the coming general election if he is sincere about defending women’s dignity, an MP said today.
The MP for Kulai, Teo Nie Ching, said for BN’s Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar, a woman’s value depended on her appearance, which she described as a “disgusting” stand.
Bung Moktar should retract a remark he made in the Dewan Rakyat and apologise immediately, she added in a statement, referring to comments he made when he waded into the controversy over the wearing of headscarves at work.
Bung Moktar was reported to have said: “What is the problem in wearing a tudung? If she is a beautiful woman, even if she wears a tudung, she would still be beautiful. If she is not pretty, even if she is nude, who would want her?”
Teo, the DAP’s international secretary, said this was not the first time Bung Moktar had made disparaging remarks against women, and gave as examples his women “bocor setiap bulan” remark in 2007 and his “women drivers are slow and oblivious” in 2011.

Bung Moktar: A woman can be ‘not pretty’ even if she is ‘nude’
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 20 — A woman’s beauty is not defined by whether or not she covers her head, a Barisan Nasional (BN) lawmaker said in Parliament today amid an ongoing controversy over wearing headscarves at work.
Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin said the tudung or headscarf neither subtracts a woman’s attractiveness or otherwise.
“What is the problem in wearing a tudung? If she is a beautiful woman, even if she wears a tudung, she would still be beautiful.
“If she is not pretty, even if she nude, who would want her?” he said in the Dewan Rakyat.
Bung Moktar then named several PAS lawmakers present and claimed that even they would agree with him on this matter.

‘If I was home, some may have died’
PARLIAMENT Seething over a protest held outside his residence in Ampang, Umno lawmaker Bung Moktar Radin warned “some may have died” if he was at home during the incident. ”
A group of women from Ampang intruded into my home today. They were holding banners and shouting ‘reformasi’, among others.
“Police reports have been lodged, but what happens in the august house should be resolved here.
Bung argued that the protest, organised in response to his ‘sexist’ remark towards PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin, was a form of harassment against his family.
“Nasib baik saya tidak ada. Kalau saya ada, mungkin ada yang mati di situ. Jangan cabar saya. (Luckily, I was not there. Had I been there, people may have died. Don’t challenge me),” he thundered.

More sexist remarks but Bung skips free again
Bung Moktar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan) was once again let off the hook for making sexist remarks, this time for insinuating that the husband of Zuraida Kamaruddin (PKR-Ampang) will be fearful of her behaviour in Parliament.
Zuraida today urged the House to refer Bung Mokhtar to the rights and privilegee committee for disciplinary action over what she said were his sexist remarks made last Tuesday.
According to the parliamentary Hansard for June 9, Bung Moktar had said: ‘Saya bimbang. Saya tengok laki dia di rumah takut macam ini keadaan. (I am worried. Her husband will be frightened if the situation is like this.) Deputy Speaker Ronald Kiandee said Zuraida should have voiced out her disatisfaction on the day itself, to which Zuriada replied she had the benefit of Hansard to prove that Bung Moktar had said it.
Kiandee then ordered Bung to explain, saying MPs shouldn’t make remarks about the personal characteristics of a fellow MP.
The Kinabatangan lawmaker then stood up and admitted he had uttered the words and then went on to repeat them, earning the ire of Fauziah Salleh (PKR-Kuantan) who urged him to retract his remarks.
He went on to add that if Zuraida behaved in an aggressive manner, her husband would be suffering in the house.
“I am concerned if she brings her aggressive behaviour back home. If ‘no’, then Alhamdulillah; if ‘yes’, then her man will be suffering,” he said. “She is well-known… she was called mak lampir (vampire or ghost) in the newspapers,” he added.
He also said he had no bad intention towards Zuraida with his remarks and with this, the deputy speaker let him off the hook.

Bung Moktar: I could be kidnapped while eating at restaurant
KUALA LUMPUR: Outspoken MP Datuk Bung Moktar Radin says that he fears for his safety as a Sabah elected representative, adding that he too could be kidnapped while eating at a restaurant in the state. Bung was referring to last Thursday’s abduction of restaurant manager Thien Nyuk Fun, 50, and electrical consultant Bernard Then Ted Fen, 39, from the Ocean King Seafood Restaurant by masked gunmen. “If armed men without masks can enter suburban areas (pinggir bandar) and select who they want to kidnap, it means the authorities have failed. What happened to the RM660mil allocation for Esscom?” he said, adding that it was fortunate that no elected representative has so far been kidnapped while eating at restaurants in the state. Bung further questioned Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim’s statement that the Government was considering buying ready-built ships for the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) due to the “pressing situation” in the state. “We do not need ships. We want helicopters to hunt down these criminals,” he said. http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2015/05/20/Bung-Moktar-restaurant-Sabah/ — MORE CRAP FROM YOU-KNOW-WHO! I have travelled. Bung Mokhtar takes issue with ‘sexually stimulating’ airport pat-downs
KUALA LUMPUR: Outspoken Sabahan MP Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin has claimed that some passengers are being “fondled” (diraba) at Malaysian airports and may be “sexually stimulated” as a result, while undergoing security pat-down checks. Bung Mokhtar (BN-Kinabatangan) questioned why Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB) did not use handheld scanners for passengers who had triggered metal detectors at security checkpoints, but resorted to manual pat-downs instead. “It makes passengers uncomfortable when they have to undergo such inspections. “This is dangerous because it may be sexually stimulating (menaikkan nafsu),” he said, drawing laughter from the floor. He said that checks conducted on women were gentle, but men had to go through a rougher process. “They check us all over our bodies and sometimes touch us in places that can cause discomfort,” he added. http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/11/11/Bung-stimulating-airport-patdowns/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter —

Student lodges report over Bung’s ‘racist’ remarks
A 20-year-old student has lodged a police report against the Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin today, accusing him of uttering racist remarks during a parliamentary debate. The student, Prasanth Kumar Brakasam, lodged the police report in Jasin, Malacca, claiming that the outspoken parliamentarian had said that Indians in Malaysia would become robbers if they are not elected as MPs. “This was a big insult and shame on the Indian people of Malaysia and this statement must not came from the mouth of a leader who represents the people in his constituency and he should be responsible for what he said in the Parliament,” Prasanth said in a separate statement to the media. The Pertubuhan Sokongan Pemuda Malaysia chairperson said he wants the police to take action against Bung Moktar so that he would retract his statement and apologise. Prasanth was apparently referring to a heated exchange between Bung Moktar and Kapar MP Manivannan Gowindasamy while debating the Tun Hussein Onn Teacher’s Foundation Bill 2014 on Monday. … The Hansard records a part of the argument as follows: Bung Moktar: Speaker, if this person (Manivannan) did not become an MP, perhaps he will become a robber… (laughs). But their apology was rejected by Fong Po Kuan because she found the apology not sincere, as they apologised under pressure
… Kinabatangan MP Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin uttered a sexist remark against Fong Poh Kuan (DAP – Batu Gajah) while they were in a heated argument over the ceiling leakage in the Parliament building. Both of them said: “Mana ada bocor? Batu Gajah pun bocor tiap-tiap bulan juga (Where is the leak? The Batu Gajah MP leaks every month too.)” http://www.thestar.com.my/story.aspx/?file=%2f2007%2f5%2f16%2fnation%2f17736594 —– BUNG MOKHTAR HAD COMPLAINED THAT TERESA KOK WAS DRESSED ‘INAPPROPRIATELY’ (DID HE MEAN ‘SEXILY’?) That was in April 2014. “The skirt goes until the knees, I can see the knees, how can this dress be allowed?” he asked. NOW, SOMEONE OR SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE TRACKED HIM AND HIS 2ND WIFE DOWN… —

Gambar Nakal Isteri Bung Moktar
To my sayang, U know i always believe in u. Sekarang masa untuk bekerja dengan lebih cemerlang lagi. InsyaAllah, Allah akan sentiasa membantu jika niat kita jujur dan ikhlas dalam apa jua perkara yang kita lakukan. To my dear followers, sorry i don’t have a ‘decent’ pic of us. Ini je yg ada. Maaf jika kurang sesuai. Salam hormat dari saya kepada semua. Have a beautiful Sunday everyone. Dapat dilihat, gambar yang dimuatnaik oleh Zizie memang agak ‘nakal’ sedikit bak katanya termasuk salah satu memaparkan Bung sedang cuba membuat ‘duck face’ seperti yang sering dilakukan isterinya apabila bergambar. Apa-apa pun, mungkin inilah cerminan kehidupan mereka suami isteri yang sentiasa gembira. http://mediaharia.blogspot.com/2013/10/gambar-nakal-isteri-bung-moktar.html —–

Bung Moktar sees red at Kok’s dress, knees
BN’s outspoken Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin today attempted to raise a standing order in Parliament to complain against the dressing of DAP’s Seputeh MP Teresa Kok. Bung stood up abruptly during the sitting and asked deputy speaker Ismail Mohamed Said to reprimand Kok for her dress, which he said was “inappropriate”. “The skirt goes until the knees, I can see the knees, how can this dress be allowed?” he asked. This clearly angered Kok, who stood up and asked Bung to retract his remarks. “The top is like a T-shirt, it’s all red, this is not how you dress in Parliament,” he said. To this, Kok retorted that if Bung had a problem with her red top, he is equally guilty for wearing a yellow tie. “Do you have no other work?” she asked Bung. http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/259655 …
