PETALING JAYA (Oct 28, 2013): Two police constables have been arrested – one for allegedly raping a foreign masseur and the other for soliciting a RM2,000 bribe during a “police raid” on an unlicensed massage parlour in Taman SEA here last week.
Three civilians, including a woman, were detained along with them for impersonating police personnel.
The constables, aged 25 and 30, both attached to two district police headquarters in Selangor, had gone to the massage parlour with two male friends and a woman, under the pretext of being members of a police raiding team on an anti-vice operation.
…
It is learned that they took a dozen mobile phones from the masseurs.
Sources said the 30-year-old then ordered the caretaker to go with him to a nearby restaurant where he allegedly demanded money to let him off the hook.
..the other policeman who was keeping watch on the masseurs allegedly ordered one of the women into a room and forced himself on her.
Minutes later, the caretaker and the older policeman came back after which the “raiding” team left. It is believed the caretaker had given the policeman RM2,000.
The caretaker, who was suspicious about the raid by the group, later lodged a police report at the district police headquarters here.
