Shocking! FT Minister Tengku Adnan: We don’t have to help those in Opposition-held constituencies!

CCWM raising donations for Setapak Fire Victims
After arrogant Federal Territory Minister & UMNO Secretary General: Tengku Adnan went and stated openly that “The Federal Government is NOT OBLIGED to assist Fire victims in constituencies held by Pakatan Rakyat.” Showing off how arrogant and inhumanely stupid he is, we have took it upon us to help RAISE the funds through CCWM ourselves.

As this is what CCWM as an Action Oriented NGO in the future plans to do, to empower people to help communities around Malaysia.

Fires broke out in Kampung Chubadak and Kampung Puah Bahagia in Sentul earlier this month, on Aug 8 and Aug 10, destroying some 50 houses and leaving 300 people homeless.

Tian Chua…said that the victims have been upset since a visit by Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor this morning.

According to him, although Tengku Adnan handed RM800 to each family during his visit, the minister also told the victims that the aid was not an obligation for the federal government because the victims came from a constituency that is under the opposition.

“The people are quite upset because Tengku Adnan said the government didn’t have to give the aid anyway, because the area is under the opposition,” added Tian Chua, who is a PKR vice-president.

A photo of the FIRE incident in Setapak and their victims as they stood and watched from a distance as the fire destroyed their homes, taken by YB TIAN CHUA’s cellphone camera at the scene, shared with me through ‘Whatsapp’ just now. These people have lost their homes and almost eveyrthing they own. They’ve been moved OUT of the Dewan and have no where to go.

THESE are the people…human beings and Malaysian Citizens which Federal Territory Minister & UMNO Secretary General: Tengku Adnan said that “The Federal Government is NOT OBLIGED to HELP FIRE VICTIMS in constituencies held BY the OPPOSITION.”

Take a good look at these people, are they any LESS human than you or I???

One thing’s for certain from THIS incident is, we have an INHUMANE and Illegitimate useless Government in-place and its time to SHOW them what BEING HUMAN and the Power of the People is all about…starting right here in CCWM!

THESE people will need your help, and probably even volunteers.

Am trying to get as much details as possible from YB TIAN…how many Women and Children and Senior Citizens especially.

They may need Towels, Blankets, Drinking Water, and probably volunteers and some Medical Help and Supplies.

I’ve asked YB TIAN CHUA to also provide a Bank Account for possible donations. Will keep everyone posted!

GO WASH YR MOUTH, KU NAN: ‘No need to help fire victims in Opposition area’

Written by Stephen Ng

…Tengku Adnan has no qualms to say that the Federal Government has no obligation towards the fire victims who come from a constituency that is under the Opposition.

May I repeat, what kind of a pariah minister does Najib Tun Razak have in his present cabinet? Where did Tengku Adnan obtain his education? Did he get a recycled degree from the University of Pudu Raya?

No service? Then don’t tax the people

I wish to reiterate that, if the Federal Government has no obligations towards a constituency that had voted for Pakatan, then the Federal Government should not collect taxes from the constituents in 89 parliamentary seats that have voted against the pariah Federal Government.

When their Member of Parliament, Chua Tian Chang (aka Tian Chua) appealed on the behalf of a group of fire victims from Sentul who were moved out of their temporary shelter at Pusat Komuniti Taman Ibukota today, at the very least Tengku Adnan should try to look for a few suitable locations and help to solve the plight of the victims.

Tian is right that the victims have every reason to be upset, if not disgusted, when the pariah minister visited the constituency. In fact, they should even kick Tengku Adnan out of the constituency given his attitude as a federal cabinet minister!

As Rakyat of this country, we strongly demand Tengku Adnan to retract his statement, which is a dangerous precedent when someone of his low IQ is allowed to set for future leaders.

This is one major reason why UMNO Baru, the monster created by Dr Mahathir Mohamad, is now a four-letter word in most households than what it used to be during the late Tunku’s era.

Ku Nan: Sentul fire victims not forced out

The fire victims in Kampung Chubadak, Sentul here were not forced to move out of the evacuation centre but had to vacate the place as it had been booked much earlier for a wedding reception.

Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor disclosed this to clear the air on the Malaysiakini article yesterday entitled ‘Mangsa Kebakaran Dipaksa Pindah Dari Pusat Perlindungan’, and ‘Menteri Digesa Timbang Rayuan Mangsa Kebakaran’.”The DBKL (Kuala Lumpur City Hall) had earlier offered houses to the victims at the Bukit Jalil PPR (Projek Perumahan Rakyat) on Aug 13,” he said in a statement today.

Fire victims moved out of shelter, have nowhere to go

A group of fire victims from Sentul were moved out of their temporary shelter at Pusat Komuniti Taman Ibukota today and now have nowhere to go, Batu MP Tian Chua said.

Tian Chua told Malaysiakini that Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers told the victims from 36 houses in Sentul that were destroyed in fires on Aug 8 and Aug 10 to move out as the community hall had been booked for an event tomorrow.

Despite initial objections from the families stationed there, the fire victims have reluctantly agreed to move out.

NONEA handful of them took up an offer from DBKL and the Federal Territories and Urban Well-being Ministry to be placed at the People’s Housing Programme (PPR) flats in Bukit Jalil.

“Some families have accepted the offer to go to Bukit Jalil, while some 20 families are still lingering around, not knowing where to go. I am trying to figure out where to place them,” Tian Chua, who is the MP for the constituency where the fire occurred, said.

He said the DBKL officers had moved the belongings of the families out of the community hall and have told them that the offer to move to the low-cost flats in Bukit Jalil was a “take it or leave it” offer.

“But they don’t want to go to Bukit Jalil. They live in the Batu area, and school reopens next week and they need resume their normal lives,” said Tian Chua, who is currently with the families, outside the hall.
