PETALING JAYA: The sessions court has acquitted and discharged the founder and director of convenience store chain KK Mart and his wife of intentionally wounding the religious feelings of others over the sale of socks bearing the word "Allah".

The Shah Alam Sessions Court granted a discharge amounting to an acquittal to KK Mart founder Chai Kee Kan and director Loh Siew Mui.

KK Mart and one of its vendors, Xin Jian Chang Sdn Bhd, were fined RM60,000 each over the scandal involving socks bearing the word 'Allah'.

In March, the couple claimed trial to intentionally wounding the religious feelings of Muslims by selling socks bearing the word 'Allah'

They were charged under Section 298 of the Penal Code, which provides for imprisonment of up to a year, a fine, or both upon conviction.

The shooter's father was on a secret Trump/GOP database of gun owners rating them as to their support of both guns and the candidate.
