Right before the proceeding started, lead Counsel Hisyam Teh Poh Teik informed the bench that the appellant (Najib Tun Razak) has discharged his solicitors – Zaid Ibrahim Suflan TH Liew & Partners.

CJ Tengku Maimun then instructed the proceeding to continue.
