PETALING JAYA: Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak made a sarcastic jibe saying he was lucky that he has not been charged with sodomy amid pending court trial on the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) case.
He said this in his Facebook account on Sunday (Nov 25) after the revelation by Auditor-General Tan Sri Dr Madinah Mohamad that the original audit report on 1MDB had been altered.
“It is very clear that the Pakatan Harapan government is using all the power in the government, agencies and media to influence the people’s thoughts to tarnish my name even though the 1MDB case is awaiting trial in court.
“I am lucky that the ISA has been abolished and I have not yet been charged with a sodomy case,” he said.
Najib was referring to the Internal Security Act and the previous sodomy conviction of PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Najib in his statement addressed the claims by Madinah that several amendments had been made in the final audit report in 2016, including the removal of a paragraph mentioning fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho’s attendance at a 1MDB board meeting.

This is PI Bala’s first SD affirmed on July 1, 2008 – and made public on July 3, 2008 – which implicated Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak in the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.
STATUTORY DECLARATION
I, Balasubramaniam a/l Perumal (NRIC NO: xxxxxx-xx-6235) a Malaysian Citizen of full age and residing at xxxxx, Selangor do solemly and sincerely declare as follows :-
1. I have been a police officer with the Royal Malaysian Police Force having jointed as a constable in 1981 attached to the Police Field Force. I was then promoted to the rank of lance Corporal and finally resigned from the Police Force in 1998 when I was with the Special Branch.
25. During this discussion and in an attempt to persuade me to continue my employment with him, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that :-
- He had been introduced to Aminah by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a diamond exhibition in Singapore.
- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak informed Abdul Razak Baginda that he had a sexual relationship with Aminah and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.
- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wanted Abdul Razak Baginda to look after Aminah as he did not want her to harass him since he was now the Deputy Prime Minister.
- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Abdul Razak Baginda and Aminah had all been together at a dinner in Paris.
- Aminah wanted money from him as she felt she was entitled to a USD$500,000.00 commission on a submarine deal she assisted with in Paris.
