Youths rob, kill security guard in Puchong for money to buy booze
KUALA LUMPUR: Four youths robbed and killed a Pakistani security guard at the Jalan Permai 2/14 water treatment plant in Puchong Permai, Selangor, early today, all because they wanted money to buy alcohol.
All four were arrested within hours of the crime.
Subang Jaya District Police chief ACP Mohammad Zalin Sadari said the guard, Muhammad Gul, 69, died after he was slashed in the head and hands at the guardhouse about 12.30 am.
Police arrested three suspects at 4am and the fourth sometime later, he told Bernama.
He said police seized a parang, clothing and shoes. The youths had admitted to discarding the parang and clothing near the scene of the crime, he said.

“A preliminary investigation found that the motive was robbery. The four youths, aged between 16 and 20, were in a state of intoxication and had run out of money to buy more alcoholic drinks,” he said.
