Woman steals RM50,000 worth of jewellery on first day of work, owner posts RM3,000 reward

ALOR STAR: It was her first day of work at a jewellery shop in Kulim. Three hours later, she decided to ‘quit’ and ran off with RM50,000 worth of valuables from the shop.
The incident left the owner, identified only as Khoo shocked and baffled. He is now offering RM3,000 reward to anyone who could assist him in locating the 29-year-old woman.
He said the woman, claiming to be from Parit Buntar, Perak reported for duty at 4pm today but went missing about three hours later.
“She reported for duty today and suddenly gone missing at 7pm. The staff then noticed that some of the jewellery on the display were also missing.
Upon checking the recording of the close circuit television camera, he said the woman was spotted grabbing the jewellery before leaving the shop.
“I am offering RM3,000 cash reward to those who can provide information leading to her arrest.”
