There is a new attraction in town that is bringing a lot of fun to visitors, young and old. This family-oriented 3D trick art gallery follows the popularity of the one at Goddess of Mercy cave temple and Ipoh Parade.

Just opened on 20th Nov, 2015, there are currently more than twenty different drawings and murals but this is a work in progress.

Nine local artists were engaged to come up with these drawings that carry the theme of fun + fantasy. Some of the rooms carry different themes, such as circus and “upside down”.

Adult (with MyKad) – RM15
Adult (without MyKad) – RM19
Student (with student card) – RM10
Senior citizen (60 years old and above) – RM10
Child (4 – 12 years old) – RM10

FUNTASY HOUSE TRICK ART IPOH

Reviving the old heritage building in town is Ipoh’s newest attraction called FUNTASY HOUSE TRICK ART.

At only 3 months old, since it’s opening back in November 2015, Funtasy House Trick Art is ranked No. 2 on Trip Advisor’s Top 10 Things to Do In Ipoh! even though operations only began in November 2015.

We were given the opportunity to visit Funtasy House Trick Art and just like its name suggests, the place was loads of fun.

The old heritage building was brought back to life and it took almost 6 months to be completed – with its “kampung style entrance” and ever smiling staff, you will feel right at home and never out of place. However you are required to take off your shoes before entering and the ever helpful staff will make sure that your beloved footwear is safe and sound.

We managed to speak to Mr. Andrew Chew, the Manager of Funtasy House Trick Art and got him to reveal the secret behind the success of Funtasy House Trick Art and how Funtasy House Trick Art was rated as No.2 on Trip Advisor to which he said :

‘Actually this is our concept. We named our trick art gallery as Funtasy “House” and not gallery or museum. Because I want every guest that visit here, feel comfort like they are in their own home.

And same goes to our working spirit, we treat every visitors like our guest that visit our home. We will try to serve them and make them comfortable and feel like home. And I believe with this concept and spirit. We can still maintain our quality and good feedback from customer.” he said.
