Pokémon Go (stylized Pokémon GO) is a location-based augmented reality mobile game developed for iOS and Android devices.
Making use of GPS and the camera of compatible devices, the free-to-play game allows players to capture, battle and train virtual creatures called Pokemon, who appear on device screens as though in the real world.

Pokémon caught during anti-#PokemonGo press conference
Pokémon caught during anti-Pokémon Go press conference

In a twist of irony, a Pokémon was caught during an anti-Pokémon Go press conference in front of the Dang Wangi police district headquarters this morning.
The Pokémon was caught next to Abdul Rani Kulup, president of Martabat Jalinan Muhibah Malaysia (MJMM), as he was speaking to reporters on the need to stop the game from entering Malaysia.
“I just wanted to see if any Pokémon would appear (on my phone) during the press conference and true enough there was one.
“So I got Krabby,” said a Pokémon Go player, who declined to be identified because she was using a hacked version of the game.
Rani was speaking to reporters after lodging a police report to urge authorities to bar the game from entering Malaysia for safety reasons.

Penang Mufti : Declare Pokemon Go haram
The ban is to avoid harm and maintain public welfare, says Wan Salim Wan Mohd Noor.
PETALING JAYA: Penang Mufti Wan Salim Wan Mohd Noor has called for Pokemon Go to be declared “haram” (forbidden) with immediate effect.
Wan Salim was quoted saying in Sinar Harian that a study by the mufti’s department has shown that the “negatives” of the game, outweighed the “positives.”
“Therefore, we hope the National Fatwa Council will ban the game as soon as possible,” he was quoted.
