Four men, two armed with pistols and two with hammers, robbed a goldsmith at the Terminal One shopping mall in Seremban today, police said.

The men dressed in black, with jackets, gloves and crash helmets on, struck at 11.44am and made off with four trays of jewellery after smashing the glass display cabinets, said Seremban Police chief ACP Muhamad Zaki Harun.

“One of them fired a shot but no one was injured,” he said, adding that the robbers fled on motorcycles. Five employees were in the outlet at the time, but there were no customers, he said, adding that the value of the losses had yet to be ascertained. Zaki said police had launched a manhunt for the robbers. – Bernama, July 19, 2015.
