An Unintended Consequence: IGP may end up making Penang a permanent DAP stronghold.

The Court of Appeal upholds decision of High Court Judge: IGP Khalid responsible for Kugan’s death in police custody

THE ARREST OF PPS MEMBERS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PENANG STATE MERDEKA PROCESSION IS SEEN BY DAP NOT AS A LAW-AND-ORDER ISSUE BUT AS A POLITICAL ACT. The Police are once again seen as siding BN-UMNO.

The action of the PPS may be defined by the IGP as defying the Police but the PPS will see itself as defying BN-UMNO.

THE ONLY CERTAINTY IS THAT PENANG WILL BE EVEN MORE PRO-DAP THAN EVER.

Twitter user apologises to IGP Khalid

PETALING JAYA: A Twitter user has apologised to Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar and the force for his “bastardization of PDRM” twit on Sunday.

“Hello both @PDRMsia @KBAB51, I am retracting the suggestion on the bastardization and apologize to you and all your members of the force,” said Viktor Wong on his Twitter account @wonghoicheng.

Earlier, Wong had twitted: “Bastardization of @PDRMsia. Thanks to the ruthless @KBAB51 Henrich Himmler of Malaysia.”

The message caught Khalid’s attention and he directed the Police Cyber Investigation Response Centre (PCIRC) to act against Wong’s twit.

Khalid also wanted action to be taken against another Twitter user, @ennasrul who tagged Khalid’s twitter handle @KBAB51 with a tweet reading “Anjing BN”.

Police chief wants probe on tweets insulting him

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar has asked the force’s cyber investigation unit (PCIRC) to act against individuals who insulted him on social networking site Twitter.

Khalid posted screenshots in his own Twitter account of two individuals who tagged Khalid with insulting messages directed at the police chief.

Although the reason for their outburst is unclear but it could be related to the police’s action against the Penang Voluntary Unit (PPS) earlier today.

In both Twitter postings, Khalid mentioned PCIRC and requested that action be taken against them.

In one posting, a man tagged Khalid and called him “anjing BN” (BN dog), while another posted, “Thanks to ruthless (Khalid), Henrich Himmler of Malaysia.”

Khalid said the first individual he mentioned was being “insolent” against the IGP and subsequently requested action against the other Twitter user.

In a statement posted on its Facebook, the PCIRC said that it would investigate the two individuals, though it did not specify under what sections.

It also posted the screenshots of the two Twitter postings to help identify the individuals behind it.
