Winner of Miss Asia Pacific World, Miss Myanmar, is in yet another scandal when she made a statement claiming she was forced to perform sexual favors after returning to Korea to finalize a contract.
According to Kukmin Ilbo via KoreaBang, Miss Myanmar was forced to perform sexual favors, according to an internal investigation by pageant organizers.
May Myat Noe who was elected Miss Asia Pacific World in in Seoul returned to Myanmar with her crown alleging that she was forced to have plastic surgery and to perform sexual favors.
According to the organizers, May, who won Miss Asia Pacific World in the spring, visited Korea again in August to finalize a contract with N Management.
She had received offers including record production with a vocal training, from the company.
But from her first day back in Korea, Choi told her while at a hotel in Seoul that, “Since you don’t have any money, you should entertain the executives,” and urged her to perform sexual favors.
Choi recently confessed the truth to the organizers who had begun to take legal action. This information was also confirmed by May.

One reason that Miss Myanmar May Myat Noe was dethroned as Miss Asia Pacific 2014 is she is aged only 15, said Lawrence Choi, president of the Supertalent of the World Incorporation that holds Miss Asia Pacific World contest.
Choi said that only those aged between 18 and 27 years old could join the beauty pageant.”Her real birth-date was October 13, 1998,” said the president. He stated he learnt that in early May when it was too late to find her replacement.
She was crowned Miss Asia Pacific 2014 in the month.

Organisers of the all-over-the-map pageant in South Korea decided to strip the 18-year-old of the title (we’ll try and find a better verb). The first woman from Myanmar to win an international beauty contest promptly lost it due to her alleged “lack of personality, integrity and loyalty to the contest organiser”.
Lack of personality? Struggling to be a little more specific, the organisers complained about her “ungrateful attitude and untrustworthiness” and said they could no longer work with her.
Further down in the official statement, though, it says her mother tried by illegal means to get a three-month visa to stay in South Korea, which is considerably more helpful in understanding what happened, but there the details end.
“Simply, we have no trust in her, and there is no reason to believe she can carry out her duties as Miss Asia Pacific World 2014 successfully,” said the statement.
Ouch. This is a lot rougher that losing your crown over some naughty statements scrawled long ago on Facebook.

A dethroned beauty queen from Myanmar swiped her $100,000 tiara after she was ousted Wednesday for being rude and lying, pageant officials said.
May Myat Noe had an ungrateful attitude since she was crowned Miss Asia Pacific World in May — even after sponsors paid her $10,000 plastic surgery tab, said David Kim, media director for the South Korea-based pageant.
“We thought she should be more beautiful … so we sent her to the hospital to operate on her breasts,” Kim said.
The pageant hoped to turn the 18-year-old into a regional megastar and booked singing gigs and video deals for the teen.

A Burmese beauty queen has allegedly disappeared with a £120,000 jewelled tiara after being dethroned as Miss Asia Pacific World for ‘being rude’.
May Myat Noe, 18, was crowned as the most beautiful woman in south-east Asia in May by the South Korean pageant, but the organisers wanted her to have breast enhancement surgery before they could get her a record deal.
David Kim, director of media for Miss Asia Pacific World, said Miss Noe had been a disappointment from the outset.
Following her victory, the organisers and sponsors wanted the 5ft 7in pageant winner to change her looks so she could become a singer.
Mr Kim said: ‘We thought she should be more beautiful … so as soon as she arrived we sent her to the hospital to operate on her breasts.’
Adding that the competition’s sponsors paid £6,000 for her breast enhancement, Mr Kim said: ‘It’s our responsibility.
‘If she has no good nose, then maybe, if she likes, we can operate on her nose. If it’s breasts, then breasts.’
From there it went downhill. The pageant organisers say they paid for a 10-day trip for her and her mother to Seoul, South Korea, but that quickly turned into three months, incurring extra cost.
