In the video, the man is seen rocking his car and pressing on its boot continuously as the woman fills it with petrol.

Many netizens have left comments of criticism and called them a laughingstock.

One wrote, “Only Singaporeans will be this kiasu. What a joke!” while another said, “This is something you can see only in JB.”

“It’s a disgrace to be Singaporean after seeing this,’ commented another user.

Stompers yeow gui and John came across this picture of a Singaporean man who jacked up his car so that he could pump maximum fuel into his car at a petrol station in Johor Bahru.

The photo was posted on a forum in Malaysia, with captions that labelled the guy ‘silly’ and a ‘stingy ghost’ who jacked up his car for a few dollars’ worth of petrol.
