Why attack Rosmah, not Dyana, Nabi Bux tells PAS

BUKIT GELUGOR Bukit Gelugor independent candidate has questioned PAS for criticising Rosmah Mansor, but not Teluk Intan DAP candidiate.

Mohamed Nabi Bux Mohamed Abdul Sathar said Rosmah, the wife of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, has not voiced her opposition to hudud implementation, unlike Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud.

Nabi Bux, who claims that he is a PAS member, said he is saddened that he is being isolated by PAS leaders who are willing to assist Dyana but not him, although he supports the implementation of hudud in Bukit Gelugor.

“It is not appropriate for PAS leaders especially (deputy president) Mohamad Sabu and (information chief) Mahfuz Omar, to speak out against Rosmah, whereas it’s the DAP candidate who truly does not support hudud implementation.”

“Rosmah may not wear the tudung but she has not objected to hudud implementation,” said Nabi Bux in a press conference in Penang today.

Nobody in PAS knows anything about mysterious Mohamad Nabi Bux

KUALA LUMPUR, May 11:

PAS today confirmed that Mohamed Nabi Bux Mohamed Nabi Abd Sathar, a candidate who offered himself to contest for the Bukit Gelugor seat under PAS, is not its party member.

“We have never seen his face nor know anything about him before this,” PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu said.

Mohamad, or Mat Sabu as he is popularly known, said PAS was currently scrambling through its database to verify whether “the mysterious Bux” was ever a PAS member.

“We ourselves are surprised as we have never heard his name.

“If we find out that he is our member, then he will face the music for his action,” Mat Sabu told The Rakyat Post today.

PAS: Bkt Gelugor candidate Umno member

PAS has denied that Mohamed Nabi Bux, who has declared his intention to contest in the Bukit Gelugor by-election, is a member of the Islamist party.

PAS information chief Mahfuz Omar said investigations have revealed the self-proclaimed PAS member is in fact an Umno member.

“His claim to be a PAS member is a lie and our search showed he is actually an Umno member,” Mahfuz was quoted saying in Harakah Daily.

PAS member to contest in Bukit Gelugor

A PAS member, Mohamed Nabi Bux Mohd Nabi Sathar, has expressed his intention to contest in the Bukit Gelugor by-election, for which nomination day is Monday.

Mohamed Nabi, 63, a retired businessman, is the second person to announce his candidacy today, after Parti Cinta Malaysia vice-president Huan Cheng Guan, who launched his operations centre in Air Itam today.

However, Penang PAS leader Iszuree Ibrahim expressed surprise over Mohamed Nabi’s move, saying the party was about to launch its machinery and operations centre to support DAP in Bukit Gelugor.

DAP will name its candidate tomorrow, while MCA is still mum on whether it will contest the seat, which its candidate Teh Beng Yeam lost to the late Karpal Singh by a whopping majority of 41,778 votes in the May 5 general election last year.
