If your e-mail address is on the Ashley Madison list….

Let show u how to find out if your e-mail address is on the Ashley Madison list.

By HARIZ BAHARUDIN

How do I find out if my e-mail address is on the list?

You can now search for any e-mail address registered with Ashley Madison.

Using the leaked data, sites like Trustify and cynic.al have created searchable databases that allow you to type in an e-mail address to check if it is part of the Ashley Madison dump.

If an e-mail address is in the database, it could mean:

  • the address owner is an active member of the site;
  • he created an account, but does not use it; or
  • someone used his e-mail address to create a fake account.

The database does not show usage of the account or other details that could expose an account holder’s potential affair.

I signed up for Ashley Madison and my details are in the leaked list. What should I do?

You should change your e-mail address to prevent further association and misunderstandings linked with the Ashley Madison leak, said Mr Eric Chan, a solutions consulting directorfrom security software company Fortinet.

Also check the privacy settings on your social media accounts because hackers could use this information to identify and blackmail you. Ignore any online blackmail attempts, Mr Chan said.

More than 4,700 Singapore e-mails found in Ashley Madison data leak

Over 4,700 S’pore e-mails were in the Ashley Madison customer data leak.

Last week,  hackers fulfilled their promise to expose the personal information of more than 32 million members of adultery website Ashley Madison.

The hack has had wide-ranging consequences, especially in the US and Canada, where two suicides have been linked to the leak.

The New Paper combed through the data and found 4,751 e-mail addresses with the  “.sg” suffix — which indicates a Singapore domain address.

These include addresses ending in “.com.sg” and 38 “.edu.sg” e-mail addresses. The “.edu.sg” suffix typically means the address belongs to students, teachers and faculty members of local education institutions.

However, it must be noted that Ashley Madison does not require a verification of the e-mail, which means anyone can enter an e-mail address, even if he or she doesn’t own it.

OTTAWA (AFP) – Two suicides may be linked to the hacking of adultery website Ashley Madison and the release of its membership data, Canadian police warned on Monday.

Staff Superintendent Bryce Evan of the Toronto police told a news conference about the deaths.

But he cautioned it has yet to be confirmed that they are linked to the release of stolen e-mails and user account information from some 32 million Ashley Madison members.

Former Ashley Madison employee claims she was paid to create fake profiles

A former employee of the Ashley Madison adultery website has claimed she was told to create hundreds of fake profiles of female “members” to entice men to join up.

Doriana Silva, who worked at the company’s headquarters in Toronto, Canada, tried to sue the firm in 2012 after claiming she suffered repetitive strain injury (RSI) after being given a month to input 1000 bogus memberships.

The case adds to suspicions that countless victims of an online hack of the site’s database, whose details are now publicly available as alleged users of the website, are innocent victims whose email addresses may have been bought in bulk by Ashley Madison.

Silva, who is Brazilian, was recruited by Ashley Madison’s parent company Avid Life Media to help launch a Portuguese language website in her home country.

According to court documents in Toronto: “Her allegation is that her job entailed concocting phony profiles of alluring females and inputting these profiles into the appellants’ online dating service in order to attract male subscribers.”

She claimed she was given three weeks to create 1000 fake profiles.

Her claim stated: “The purpose of these profiles is to entice paying heterosexual male members to join and spend money on the website.

“They do not belong to any genuine members of Ashley Madison — or any real human beings at all.”

She said she was led to believe “that doing so was some sort of a normal business practice in the industry” but found her workplace “oppressive and unethical”.

Shhhh! Malaysian users exposed in data leak of cheating site Ashley Madison

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 — Florists, jewellers and divorce lawyers in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sabah may be rejoicing after information released following a hack of pro-infidelity dating site Ashley Madison showed a concentration of Malaysian users there.

US website Gizmodo posted yesterday a map by Malfideleco of Ashley Madison users around the world, broken down by gender, based on the data stolen by hackers that revealed users here as well as in George Town, Butterworth and Juru in Penang, and Beaufort in Sabah.

More than 85 per cent of Ashley Madison users in Kuala Lumpur, Georgetown, Juru, and Beaufort were male, while men made up about 61 per cent of users in Butterworth.

It is unclear how there are Malaysian users of the Canada-based Ashley Madison, which touts itself as “the most famous website” for married people looking for partners to have affairs with, as there is no “Malaysia” section where users can register themselves under.

I’m sorry… Hahahaha… Haha I’m sorry but… Hhahaaaaa Josh Duggar!!!!!!!! Hahahaha I am dying!!!!

Family Values Activist Josh Duggar Had a Paid Ashley Madison Account

In 2013, conservative reality TV star Josh Duggar—of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting fame—was named the executive director of the Family Research Council, a conservative lobbying group in D.C. which seeks “to champion marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society.” During that time, he also maintained a paid account on Ashley Madison, a web site created for the express purpose of cheating on your spouse.

In May 2015, Duggar was forced to resign after In Touch Weekly reported that he had molested five young girls (four of whom were his own sisters) beginning in 2002. When the accusations became public, the family went into crisis mode, insisting that Josh had reformed and that the media covering the claims was intent on “exploiting women.”

Josh himself took to his family’s Facebook page to absolve himself of his past indiscretions and assure the world he was back on a righteous path:

Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.

And his wife, for her part, certainly seemed to believe it:

But data released online in the wake of the hack on Ashley Madison’s servers certainly seems to show otherwise. Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary—a home that was consistently shown on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child—paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015.

The list of cheaters is now searchable online. reports:

Someone has even created a custom Google Map that displays some of AshleyMadison.com users’ addresses registered with the website.

Some people were idiotic enough to sign up using company and government work email addresses, making them especially easy to positively identify. Our quick review found 6,904 addresses linked to the Canadian and American governments, plus another 7,239 in the U.S. Army, 3,531 in the Navy, 1,114 Marines and 628 in the Air Force.

But it’s difficult to verify the accuracy of these searching tools. But at least one tool, which searches by email address, returns accurate results. CNNMoney verified this by plugging in email addresses of users it has independently verified.

The danger of being exposed is real.

Many of the cheaters exposed in this hack serve in the U.S. military, evident because they used email addresses that end in the .mil domain. Adultery does, in fact, violate Uniform Code of Military Justice. It’s a prosecutable offense that can land you a year in confinement and a dishonorable discharge.

IS YOUR NAME ON THE LIST?

Customer details on infidelity website Ashley Madison leaked. The names, addresses and credit card transaction records of 32 million customers are now out there in the open.

Hackers have posted details of cheating spouses who use Ashley Madison adultery site

Names of 37 million cheating spouses are leaked online: Hackers dump huge data file revealing clients of adultery website Ashley Madison – including bankers, UN and Vatican staff

Hackers today outed millions of cheating spouses using the Ashley Madison infidelity website by publishing all their personal details and sexual fantasies online.

The names, ages, addresses, phone numbers and credit card details of up to 37million users including 1.2million in the UK were revealed in a 9.7 gigabyte file called ‘Time’s Up!’ posted on the dark web.

Bankers, civil servants, UN peacekeepers and even Vatican employees have been outed by hackers from the Impact Team because they are considered ‘cheating dirtbags’.

The Ashley Madison website, which is known as the ‘Google of cheating’, has called the data breach ‘an act of criminality’ and the FBI is now investigating.

The site promises its members worldwide complete ‘anonymity’ and has the motto: ‘Life is short. Have an affair’ but hackers say they have exposed its members because they want it shut down.

Security experts said today the data breach will not only end marriages but could also leave people open to blackmail.

The Ashley Madison hackers have released info on the cheating website’s customers.

Hackers have reportedly made good on their threat of exposing customer data that they had stolen from the Ashley Madison website.

Ashley Madison encourages married people to have affairs by promising to hook them up with other like-minded individuals.

According to BBC News, the hackers, who call themselves The Impact Team, have just published the details of Ashley Madison users on the dark web, which is only accessible by encrypted browsers.

Ashley Madison operates in 50 countries and has around 37 million users.

TIME reported that this information included names, addresses and even credit card transaction records of 32 million customers, which was stolen last month.

Hackers threaten to expose 37 million cheating spouses worldwide

Embedded image permalink

Dear cheating husbands and wives worldwide, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Extramarital dating site Ashley Madison has been hacked. And its financial records and data on its 37 million users are now in the hands of hackers who go by the name The Impact Team.

The hackers are threatening to expose sensitive information such as the names, addresses, credit card details and sexual fantasies of the users unless Ashley Madison and dating website Established Men are taken offline permanently.

Both sites, along with dating website Cougar Life, are owned by Canada-based company Avid Life Media (ALM), which was the target of the hack.

‘A complete lie’

The Impact Team released snippets of stolen information and claimed that the reason for the hack was that ALM had lied to its customers about its “full delete” feature, which allows users to erase their data for a small fee, reported security blog KrebsOnSecurity.

“Full Delete netted ALM $1.7mm in revenue in 2014. It’s also a complete lie,” The Impact Team wrote.

“Users almost always pay with credit card; their purchase details are not removed as promised, and include real name and address, which is of course the most important information the users want removed.”

Extra-marital dating site Ashley Madison blocked in Singapore

The Singapore government has acted on strong objections by its citizens against Ashley Madison, a dating site for married people to find extra-maritial affairs.

It has effectively blocked access to the Ashley Madison Singapore site, which means people on local Internet Service Providers will not be able to access it. Our bloggers outside of Singapore are able to access the ashleymadison.sg domain name with no issues. A ping test done inside Singapore confirms that all data is being lost somewhere between the site’s servers and Singaporean web users.

Attempts to access the dating portal inside Singapore will lead to this message:

The website you are trying to access is restricted by the Media Development Authority (MDA). For more information on MDA regulations, please click here

Only Singapore residents who have installed a VPN will be able to bypass the ban. Unless authorities permit Singaporean ISPs to unblock the site.

Extra-marital dating site Ashley Madison not welcome in Singapore: Chan Chun Sing

Ashely Madison, the dating website that facilitates hook-ups between married couples, is not welcome in Singapore, Minister for Social and Family Development Chan Chun Sing said Friday.

In a Facebook post, Chan said, “I’m against any company or website that harms marriage. Promoting infidelity undermines trust and commitment between a husband and wife, which are core to marriage.”

His comments come soon after a local Facebook group calling itself Block Ashley Madison was formed in response to the news on Wednesday that Ashely Madison was planning to expand into Singapore.

“I’m heartened by the responses of many Singaporeans who also spoke up against such website. This reflects the significance we all place in commitment and fidelity in marriage,” Chan said.
