KUALA LUMPUR:  An employee of a clothing shop was fined RM3,000 by a magistrate’s court here for attempting to take photographs of two sisters trying on clothes in the shop’s dressing room.

Magistrate Mahyudin Mohmad Som handed down the fine after 28-year-old Alsaik pleaded guilty to insulting the modesty of the two sisters aged 20 and 16 years old.

Alsaik was charged with putting a handphone under the door of the room with intent to insult the modesty of the two siblings at a shop in Sunway Velocity in Cheras here at 7.30pm on March 12.

Based on the statement of facts, the two sisters wanted to try on five items of clothing, but the accused had asked them to go into the same dressing room.

They then saw a hand holding a handphone under the door snapping photographs of them as they were undressing.

Both siblings put on their clothes and then saw the accused outside their changing room

A Kazakh man has demanded an apology from a courier firm after its employee allegedly sexually harassed his wife.

Almas Toleubay, an expatriate from Kazakhstan who is living in Kuala Lumpur with his family, said his wife was alone at home with their 14-month-old baby on Tuesday when a courier man delivered a parcel to their house.

“Upon my wife signing the invoice, the man entered my house and sexually assaulted her.

“She screamed and woke up the baby, which scared the suspect and he ran away,” he told Malaysiakini.

A WOMAN was splashed with semen as she was shopping for groceries in a grocery outlet in Old Klang Road.

The woman who prefers to be anonymous posted her ordeal on Facebook her ordeal with the CCTV recording of the incident. The post has since gone viral.

“As I was checking soap labels, I felt the back of my top was wet and there were some liquid splashed on my leg. I thought I stepped on some spilled water or the soap had spilled on me. But how can that be, my top was wet on my back?” she posted in Chinese.

She said she say someone running and quickly went over the next aisle to get help from the staff.

The pervert was stopped by some security guards and when asked he said it was only water that he had splashed.

The guard upon examining the liquid on the floor told her it was semen.

When the CCTV footage was viewed, the man begged to be let off without being taken to the police.

PETALING JAYA: Police have called for a woman whose complaint against them went viral to file a report so they can look into it.

She had said that when she went to a police station in Kota Kinabalu to report a flasher, the woman officer “sneered that I should’ve flashed him in return”.

She also said her friend got “the same, sneering response” when the friend went to the station to report that she knew where the offender was later.

Her Facebook complaint has been viral for a month.

Kota Kinabalu district police chief ACP M Chandra told FMT that the victim Ana Jonessy could even come and see him personally to tell him what had actually happened.

“The police have not received any formal report in regards to the issue.”

“It would be helpful if the complainant could come forward. I’m not disputing her claim, but we need to know specifically to whom she made the report,” he said, referring to the viral complaint about the officer.

KUALA LUMPUR: An unemployed man was sentenced to a month’s jail and fined RM1,500, in default two months’ jail, by the magistrate’s court here Friday for sending an obscene image and words to someone else’s wife.

Magistrate Nur A’minahtul Mardiah Md Nor handed down the sentence on Abdul Rahim Mohd Abas, 34, who pleaded guilty to the charge.

He was ordered to serve the jail sentence from the date of his arrest, which was last Jan 9.

He rushed out to confront the suspected peeping tom, who locked himself into a cubicle, school newspaper The Nanyang Chronicle reported.

The resident, who did not want to be named, then called for help and a few hall residents caught hold of the suspect when he came out of the cubicle.

The students went through the alleged voyeur’s smartphone, and found 66 videos of male students showering saved in his phone.

The suspect tried to delete the videos while hiding in the cubicle, but they were found in a folder of recently deleted items, the Chronicle said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police on Saturday arrested a suspected underwear thief in Bangsar, here, and seized 29 undergarments from his house.

The 40-year-old man, who was caught on camera stealing undergarments at a terrace house in Jalan Limau Kasturi, Bangsar about 7am, was busted later the same day by his victim when he returned to the housing area, believed to be looking for more ‘goodies’.

Brickfields deputy police chief Superintendent Arifai Tarawe said police initially received a report from a marketing manager, claiming that a thief had stolen some 16 pieces of undergarments that belonged to him and his wife.

MALACCA: A patient allegedly flashed at a 26-year-old female doctor while seeking treatment at Malacca Hospital.

The 48-year-old, who was being attended to for injuries on his left thigh, exposed his groin to the medical officer and grabbed her hand to check his private parts, claiming that he also had pain on the groin, during a check-up on Aug 18.

State Health, Sport Develop­ment and Anti-Drugs Committee deputy chairman Datuk Ng Choon Koon said that the doctor lodged a police report the following day.

Hotel worker fined, jailed for flashing

KUALA LUMPUR: A hotel worker was sentenced to a day in jail by the magistrate’s court here today for stripping and flashing his private parts at a female college student last week.

Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abd Wahid also ordered S Reevandran, 24, to pay a fine of RM3,000, in default a month’s jail, after he man pleaded guilty to the charge.

Reevandran was charged under Section 509 of the Penal Code for showing gestures intended to outrage the modesty of the 22-year-old college student.

The offence was committed in front of a lift of a condominium in Setapak here between 1pm and 1.30pm on June 6.

Facebook user Sophie Jannah Apsara recounted in her Facebook how with the help of a stranger, she and her friend caught an old man who might have insulted their modesty red-handed.

Sophie said that she sensed that something was amiss when she noticed the old man taking pictures of her and her friend, Ingelica Lee, in the middle of the day while walking to Boat Quay.

“When we stopped and just stared at him he quickly pretended that he got a call and hurriedly walked away from us,” Sophie said.

A woman who was behind them however, signaled to them that the man was taking pictures of them.

“As we approached, he started running for his life. (I have never seen an old man run that fast before) and we both gave chase,” Sophie recounted.

The women caught the man after a chase and with the help of a stranger, managed to restrain the man until the police arrived about an hour later.

“As i was calling the police, this sneaky pervert quickly started deleting photos from his hp (handphone),” said Sophie.

“Not only were there photos of us, there were photos of many girl’s butts and up-skirt shots as well!!! All obviously taken secretly,” she added.

SINGAPORE – A full-time police national serviceman was jailed for nine months on Thursday (March 17) for taking photos of the bare body of a woman police officer in the shower and deleting six photos of females in the shower in a bid to hide his wrongdoing.

Abdul Qayyum Mohd Hashim, 20, who faced 11 charges, including criminal trespass and theft of a brassiere, admitted to three charges.

While on night duty on Jan 26 last year at Tanglin police divisional headquarters as a station security officer, he asked a colleague to cover his duties as he wanted to relieve himself. He had seen from the closed-circuit television footage the woman entering the female locker room near the toilet.

He wanted to get a chance to speak to the victim as he was interested in her.

He saw the 21-year-old walking out of the locker room with a towel, soap and some clothing and decided to take photographs of her showering.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Kelly Ho said Qayyum entered the toilet and held his Samsung Galaxy S3 mobile phone in his hand to take photographs of the victim showering.

When he heard some sounds which indicated that she was about to finish showering, he put away his phone, grabbed her bra and put it into his pocket. He then walked out of the toilet and put the bra in his bag in the male locker room.

The woman made a police report when she found her bra missing.

Woman felt ‘something’ touching her private parts at Woodlands Checkpoint — then nabs man who allegedly molested her

A Malaysian beauty has made headlines for how she successfully caught a man who had allegedly groped her at Woodlands Checkpoint despite his attempts to flee.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident took place on Mar 11 at around 7pm.

Ms Dong, a 25-year-old who works as an accountant in Singapore, had been on her way back to Malaysia like she did every weekend.

She said, “I felt something at my private parts and initially thought it was other people’s belongings brushing against me.

“However, I still felt something following me despite dodging left and right. Hence, I immediately turned around and asked the guy behind if he had touched me.”

A furious Ms Dong said that while it was normal to be pushed around when it was crowded at the Customs, she noticed that the man was carrying his backpack over his chest and using it to hide his hands.

Ms Dong yelled and the man started to flee.

It was then a kind-hearted man, 34-year-old Mr Lee, came forward to say that he had seen the man trying to get close to Ms Dong. He also agreed to be a witness for her.

“I firmly tapped the man on the back, but he continued to run away. In the end, I managed to successfully hold onto his backpack.”

Stomper Nana came across a pervert on board an MRT train while she was travelling on the Downtown line on Jan 12 at around 10:47pm.

In a telephone interview with Stomp, Nana said she saw a man snapping several photos of a woman in a spaghetti strap tank-top seated in front of him.

The man spent around five to ten minutes trying to get a good picture of the woman.

In between his attempts, he pretended to make calls with his phone so as not to make his actions too obvious.

After getting a clear photo of the woman, the man looked around to check if anyone saw what he did.

He then saw the Stomper staring at him and promptly alighted at Newton MRT station, the next stop of the train they were on.

After he left, Nana, who managed to snap a photo showing the what the man did, went to alert the woman in the tank top to what had happened.

The woman was surprised upon seeing the photo and said that the man was ‘weird’.

A 15-year-old shopper was planning to show a new sari to her sister when she took a video of herself in a clothing store’s changing room.

But the video revealed more – that a camera was watching her as she undressed.

Yesterday, for intruding on the privacy of the shopper, 34-year-old Mohamed Yousuf Abuthahir was sentenced to a month in jail, backdated to Jan 15.

On the night of Jan 9, when the girl was in the changing room of Fashion Palace in Buffalo Road, where he worked, he placed his mobile phone beneath the changing room door with its camera facing her.

She went into the changing room to try on a sari and took a video of herself, planning to show it to her sister before deciding if she would buy it.

Later that night, when reviewing the footage, she noticed a white mobile phone in the gap between the bottom of the changing room door and the floor.

Recalling that the male employee was the only person outside the changing room, she lodged a police report the following day .

Closed circuit camera footage showed the man walking to the changing room with a white mobile phone in hand around 8.20pm.

PENAMPANG: A hiker made a shocking discovery when he came across what looked like a pervert’s lair where a bunch of women’s undergarments were neatly hung on trees, with packets of condoms attached to them, during his morning hike at an area behind the Penampang Sports Complex.

The hiker reported that there was a small ‘pondok’ (hut) nearby but no one was around.

A check with the Penampang District Council disclosed that the council and the police had inspected the said site but no immediate action was taken to make room for further investigation.

He admitted pouring the substance – a mixture of xylazine and haloperidol, both poisons – into the water bottle of the 30-year-old woman at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Clementi Road, on Jan 12 last year.

Assistant Public Prosecutor N.K. Anitha said that some time in November 2014, the victim drank some water from her bottle and found that it tasted bitter. She immediately spat it out.

On another occasion, she drank a mouthful and it also tasted bitter. So, she stopped drinking water from that bottle.

She had found that after drinking, her throat would become dry and she was unable to think clearly. She was also unable to sleep at night.

After this happened a few times, she decided to place her mobile phone in video recording mode at her desk and did so on Jan 12 last year at about 5.30pm.

She went out and, when she returned at about 8pm, she saw that Wong had walked to her desk and and poured the substance into a bottle of mineral water on her desk. He then shook the bottle and placed it back in its original position.

She made a police report the next day and Wong was arrested.

Angry villagers publicly shamed a man by tying him to a tree with bras and panties he had stolen from women in Kota Kuala Muda, Kedah.

Earlier, he was seen roaming suspiciously in the village during noon before he was caught red-handed stealing undergarments from different houses.

A local, Ahmad Kamil Mihamad, 40, said a few men captured the pervert and found a bucket filled with bras and panties.

“We were puzzled because undergarments have been missing from the clothesline, and didn’t expect the man who appeared recently several days ago was a thief,” he said.

Man jailed for taking upskirt video and fined $10,000 for obscene and uncertificated films

SINGAPORE – A man who took an upskirt video of a woman on an escalator was jailed for three weeks on Tuesday (Dec 15).

Yeo Kim Yew, 50, a salesman, was also fined a total of $10,000 for having nine obscene films and 10 films without a valid certificate.

He admitted to three of six charges. The remaining three, including two of insulting the modesty of a woman, were taken into consideration in sentencing.

The court heard that on Nov 11 last year, a 35-year-old man was on the escalator at the Tanjong Pagar MRT station when he noticed Yeo standing directly behind a 35-year-old woman in a black dress.

Yeo was seen placing his mobile phone, a Samsung Note II, directly beneath the woman’s skirt in between her legs.

Sensing that Yeo might have been trying to take a video or picture up the woman’s skirt, the man confronted Yeo and told the woman about it.

After Yeo handed over his mobile phone to the man, the woman checked the phone and asked the man to help her to call the police.

A forensic examination showed that the phone contained several upskirt videos, including the one taken that day, 10 films without a valid certificate and nine obscene films.

A former deliveryman who took upskirt videos of more than 30 women over a period of seven months was jailed for 28 weeks on Friday (Dec 11) for insulting modesty.

Mohammed Faisal Kemat, 34, who faced 48 charges, was also fined a total of $35,900 for having obscene films and films without valid certificates.

He pleaded guilty to 20 charges and the rest were considered during sentencing.

He was caught at Dhoby Ghuat MRT station while trying to film an upskirt video of a 26-year-old Korean woman on Oct 3, 2013.

While travelling up the escalator, Faisal lowered his cellphone below the victim’s skirt. But before he could record the video, the witness noticed his actions and immediately shouted at him.

Faisal tried to run but the witness managed to detain him. With the help of other passers-by, Faisal was brought to the station’s operations control centre and the police were called in.

After his arrest, police raided his home and workplace. They seized a number of electronic devices comprising computers, mobile phones and computer accessories.

These were sent for forensic examination. Multiple video recordings of women’s inner thighs and undergarments taken by him were found stored within the devices.

KUALA LUMPUR: A student taking a breather from mugging for her SPM examination had the fright of her life when a naked man was caught on camera masturbating in the back alley of her house.

The man was frightened off by the student’s mother.

She had opened the kitchen window and yelled at him.

The family’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras captured the man performing the lewd act.

“I was disgusted and at the same time, shocked. Why would you do that in public?” the student told The Star.

The student said she was relaxing in the living room at about 12.22am yesterday.

Her mother, who was in the kitchen, noticed some movement in the back alley.

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman in her 20s had the shock of her life when she found a smartphone pressed against the window of her condominium bathroom while she was having a shower.

In the Sunday incident, the woman, a resident of the Riana Green condominium in Petaling Jaya, had noticed the iPhone 5 with its camera lens facing the bathroom.

When she picked it up, she was startled to see it was put on video recording mode.

However, another surprise was in store for her. A man’s hand then appeared at the window, as if reaching for the phone.

SINGAPORE: A 54-year-old man was sentenced to 5 months’ jail on Thursday (Oct 1), after he admitted to exposing himself on board an MRT train in July this year.

Samyapal Muthusamy said he committed the act, which happened between 11.50pm on Jul 30 and 12.08am on Jul 31, because he found the victim attractive.

He had been sitting next to the victim, a 28-year-old woman, on the MRT train. The woman was asleep, but awoke abruptly as she felt Samyapal learning against her shoulder.

After he woke the victim up, Samyapal moved to seat himself directly across from the victim, facing her. He then unzipped his pants, exposed his penis and started to fondle himself while looking at the victim. The woman immediately recorded his act on her handphone.

Both the accused and victim alighted at the next station, Bukit Gombak. Afraid that Samyapal was following her, the woman took refuge in a 7Eleven convenience store until Samyapal, who lived in the vicinity, left.

Since 1987, Samyapal has been convicted nine times for related offences. Six convictions had to do with committing obscene acts in public, and two were related to insulting the modesty of a woman. The remaining conviction was for appearing nude in sight of a public place.

India man arrested for ‘upskirt’ photos

A 34-year-old Indian lawyer has been arrested for allegedly taking upskirt photos and videos of women with a camera fitted to his shoe, police said.

The manager of a shop in a Delhi mall saw him sidling up close to several women wearing short skirts and placing his right foot near them.

When confronted, he tried to run away, but was caught by the mall guards who found the camera and called the police.

Police say they have recovered nearly a dozen video clips from his camera.

A complaint has been registered against him for “stalking” and “watching or capturing an image of a woman engaging in a private act”.

He fitted the camera in his right shoe and used to place his foot in a particular manner so as to capture obscene photographs of women, Press Trust of India quoted a police official as saying.

Store keeper fined RM3,000 for flashing private parts

KUALA LUMPUR: A store keeper was fined RM3,000, in default five months’ jail, for insulting the modesty of a boutique employee by flashing his private parts at her.

Magistrate Nur Azura Murah handed down the sentence on Muhammad Daniel Haikal Abdullah, 28, after he pleaded guilty to the charge.

Muhammad Daniel Haikal was alleged to have flashed his private parts at the 19-year-old woman at a boutique on the 4th floor of a shopping centre at Dang Wangi here at 10.30am last July 1.

The man, who allegedly stole more than 1,000 pieces of undergarments, was caught red-handed by residents and the management of two condominium blocks near Jalan Masjid Negeri, putting an end to a year-long stealing spree.

Police made suggestions to mall managers on how to protect themselves against shoplifting while not intruding on the privacy of shoppers. An Indian minister on Friday filed a complaint against a leading retailer in the western state of Goa after discovering a hidden camera in its fitting room, police said. Federal Education Minister Smriti Irani was trying on clothes at FabIndia in the holiday region when she spotted a camera pointed into the dressing room. “When she was doing her shopping, she noticed that one of the CCTV cameras was focused towards the trial room,” local police inspector Nilesh Rane said. “She informed us about this incident and subsequently an offence has been registered,” he added. A telemarketer was jailed for 18 weeks yesterday for taking upskirt pictures and videos of women at various places, including MRT stations. A Taiwanese-American man was arrested by airport police for allegedly installing a pinhole camera in the restroom of a China Airlines plane flying from San Francisco to Taiwan. While repairing the tap in a business-class restroom after an eight-hour flight, one of the male cabin crew members found the pinhole camera between the trash bin and the wall. After taking out the memory card, the cabin crew hung up a maintenance sign to prevent other passengers from entering and becoming the next victims of the perv’s device. After a few hours, flight attendants saw 51-year-old Liu entering the restroom and found that the camera had been torn off after he left. The flight attendants then informed the captain, and the man was arrested when the plane landed at the Taoyuan International Airport. A Defence Science and Technology Agency scholar who stole over 200 bras from his neighbour and university hostels was ordered to undergo psychological treatment for a year on Thursday (May 15). Research engineer Jonathan Peh Song Wee, 26, was found to have 228 bras at his Ang Mo Kio home — all of which were suspected to have been stolen or illegally obtained, reports The Straits Times. He had admitted to five charges — criminal trespass, theft and fraudulent possession, while another eight were taken into consideration during sentencing. A Community Court heard that Peh, who graduated from Nanyang Technological University in June last year, stole his neighbour’s two sports bras worth $110 which were hung on a rack along the common corridor of his block in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 last August. According to a report by My Paper, he had a particular liking for sports bras. —

A gentle advise, do lock your gates when you are going out of your home. — at Sri Petaling. — A female colleague’s experience I had a colleague, a married woman of about 35, tell me about how her most expensive underclothes were disappearing. Over a period of a month, every single piece, including the new ones bought to replace the stolen ones, disaoppeared. She decided to ask other women along the street. It was happening to them, too! It really frightened her. She would not stay home alone at night when her husband was late home. Definitely, she stayed at her mother-in-law’s home when he travelled! The culprit was never caught. On worse days, the cosmic joke tastes bitter. … After conversing about underwear with everyone from sex-offender therapists to prosecutors to cops who bust thieves with colorful stashes – as many as 240 pairs – of women’s underwear, I learned that penniless women were not the source of the problem and that the theft was anything but a freak occurrence. Said one female investigator in the Kirkland Police Department: “If (a burglary victim) can’t find anything that’s gone, the first thing I ask is did you check the underwear drawer?” As ridiculous as the problem first appears, the sobering truth is that that impulse to steal underwear can be related to drives far more serious. Perhaps a quarter of all men who engage in such fetishes and nuisance behaviors also have raped women; half may have molested girls, indicates one major scientific study. … Psychiatry classifies underwear thefts as a fetish – sexual arousal by objects. The classics are women’s shoes and women’s underwear. And while such fetishes used to be regarded as singular eccentric behavior that was simply a nuisance, that is changing. A major study of paraphilias (psychiatric lingo for sexual disorders characterized by sexual arousal from objects or abnormal situations like molesting children) provides strong evidence that men who engage in fetishes are likely to engage in other more dangerous activities. The results of the 8-year study involving 561 men receiving treatment for possible paraphilia were published a few years ago in The Bulletin of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. The upshot is that men with sex disorders don’t focus on one, and only one, activity. If you find an exhibitionist, chances are about 50-50 the guy has molested children. Half of the men who reported fetishes had also molested little girls. A quarter of them raped women. A conclusion of the study: “Some professionals have considered exhibitionists, voyeurs and fetishists as being rather benign, nuisance paraphiliacs.
