Registration for the government’s Central Database Hub (Padu) – which will be used to fine-tune eligibility and distribution of aid and subsidies – is open.
The registration can be done at the Padu website and is entirely in Malay for now.
The first step in registering is keying in your identity card number and the postcode for the address on your MyKad, as well as your phone number and email.
You can then set a password for your account.
.
If you find yourself locked out of your account, and are unable to register, contact Padu’s helpdesk either online, through their call centre, or at physical counters.
.
The data that users need to fill in is a comprehensive list, with information required ranging from your household details, address, job details, distance from home to work, monthly commitments, income and other sources of revenue, and aid that you already receive.
