   That is ABSOLUTELY the right thing to do.

   I had a neighbour down the road who collapsed. The wife called the ambulance and by the time that arrived and was taken to hospital, it was too late. They didn’t have a car. Why not ask the neighbours? Well, the house was overgrown and that was a bone of contention with the sanctimonious [redacted] lot who called their DBKL muscle on them.

   Early one morning about 3-4AM, my mother had difficulty breathing, She was wheezing and her skin was deathly cold. She said she was alright but I decided right there to drive her to the nearest hospital. It was a heart attack. Fluid in the lungs due to heart failure. Not the classic chest pain or pain down the left side. This happened way before the story above.
