Batman came to Hong Kong to nab a bad guy at IFC and brought him back to Gotham. In 2017 Xiao Jinhua was believed to be abducted in a hotel right next to IFC and brought to China. He was recently tried and sentenced. Fiction too close to real life? (2/n)https://t.co/XIWLIHklcI

Official reason from film censor: Dark Knight is too violent for outdoor screening. Hmm, it's violent alright, but even for outdoor screening I'm sure no one can peek inside without paying and being old enough to watch. Surely lots more films can be banned in future in Hong Kong!
