Seremban: Polis menahan 10 lelaki dipercayai terbabit dalam video menunjukkan dua kumpulan bermain mercun dengan menghalakan mercun ke arah satu sama lain seolah berperang.

Kejadian itu dipercayai berlaku di kawasan rumah kedai Taman Bandar Prima Senawang, di sini, pada malam raya pertama lalu.

Ketua Polis Daerah Seremban, Asisten Komisioner Nanda Maarof berkata, pihaknya mengesan video berdurasi 29 saat di laman sosial kira-kira 9 pagi semalam. “Ia memaparkan sekumpulan lelaki melakukan gaduh gempar sesama sendiri menggunakan bunga api.

“Kejadian berlaku di Jalan BPS 3, Taman Bandar Prima Senawang. Kejadian dikatakan Malaysia versi Brazil,” katanya dalam kenyataan, hari ini.

Beliau berkata, siasatan awal mendapati kejadian tular itu berlaku kira-kira tengah malam 2 Mei lalu.

“Polis membuat tangkapan terhadap 10 lelaki berusia dari 19 hingga 42 tahun untuk tujuan siasatan lanjut dan merampas sejumlah besar bunga api serta mercun. Mereka ditahan di sekitar daerah ini semalam.

“Siasatan lanjut masih dijalankan. Permohonan reman terhadap semua suspek dibuat hari ini,” katanya.

Tambah beliau, kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 148 Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 6 Akta Bahan Letupan 1957.

He added that the case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code and Section 6 of the Explosives Act 1957.
