GEORGE TOWN: There is no report of corruption within the Education Department here in Penang.
Its director Shaari Osman said he was quite vigilant against such practice in the department.
“I always remind my officers to uphold integrity as we are educators and we should be a role model to others,” he said yesterday.
Shaari was speaking at the oath-taking ceremony to be free from corruption jointly organised by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Penang office at the state Education Department premises in Bukit Gambir.

More than 100 staff members of the state Education Department took part in the ceremony.
