DAP ORGANISES BUSES TO BRING VOTERS BACK TO TELUK INTAN FOR THE BY-ELECTION!

The departure time to Teluk Intan will be at at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm on May 30, from the Bukit Jalil LRT and Kelana Jaya LRT stations.

DAP prepares 25 buses to ferry outstation voters

In a bid to get more outstation voters to return, DAP is getting 25 buses ready for Teluk Intan folk residing in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Singapore as transport assistance for them to vote in the by-election on Saturday.

Perak DAP adviser Ngeh Koo Ham, who made the announcement today, said 10 buses were for Klang Valley dwellers while 15 buses would be made for travel back to Singapore. The buses would be able to ferry 900 voters in need of such transport.

“We have learnt that some voters are facing financial constraints in travelling over the weekend to vote,” Ngeh told a press conference at the main DAP by-election operations centre.

This comes after the historic low voter turnout rate in Bukit Gelugor by-election yesterday, with only 56.04 percent recorded.
