Jay Chou’s latest photo has the internet drooling, and we’re not going to lie, so are we.
He showed off his muscular arms in a sleeveless top on Instagram on Monday (March 16), sparking a whole stream of thirsty comments from fans.
Nevermind that he’s asking fans if they want a cup of coffee. They’re probably too busy trying to decide whether to appreciate his biceps, triceps or deltoids first. (Coffee, tea or him?)

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 — Mandopop star Jay Chou and his wife, actress-model Hannah Quinlivan, have won praises from internet users for donating 3 million Chinese yuan (RM1.75 million) to help in the fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus.
The China Times reported that the couple’s donation was announced by the Hubei Charity Federation, one of the government-designated donation recipients.
The daily noted that internet users praised the couple for “radiating positive energy” and for doing good work quietly.
“Jay constantly keeps abreast with the latest social issues. Previously, during the Hualian earthquake, he donated $2 million Taiwanese dollar (about RM270,000) to the Hualien County Social Assistance Account.”
“This year, the couple another donated NT$2 million to the Huashan Foundation in conjunction with Chinese New Year to prepare wishes for the elders,” added the daily.
The couple also donated to the China Trust Charity Foundation to support disadvantaged children in rural areas.
China has halted travel from the city, the capital of Hubei province, as it tries to stop the spread of the virus.
The virus outbreak, which began in the central Chinese city of Wuhan in late December, has spread throughout China and across the world ― with cases confirmed in around a dozen countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Nepal, United States, Australia and Germany.

The Wuhan virus outbreak is making everyone paranoid.
No thanks to the Wuhan virus outbreak, people all over the world are taking desperate measures to keep themselves safe. And there are more and more rumours, or should we say, fake news about the virus that’s been circulating online. Including this one about how Asian pop superstar Jay Chou is now getting around from place to place via a mobile quarantine unit.
Yesterday (Jan 23), a video featuring a man emerging out of the Fuzhou airport in a sealed box was circulated online. Several men in black, supposedly airport staff, were seen pushing the box around.
Though the man’s face was covered by his face mask, it did not stop netizens from claiming that the person, who was wearing a Supreme x The North Face jacket, is Jay Chou.
“That person did not have a fever, it’s just Jay Chou protecting himself from the virus. He has an event in Fuzhou today and so he prepared a special box for himself.”claimed one netizen.
Is he crazy? Why is Jay Chou still running around outside? It’s so dangerous, responded a concerned fan.

Jay’s management has since clarified that the singer “is currently in Australia”. A quick scroll through Jay’s IG and you’ll see him and his wife Hannah Quinlivan holidaying and IG-ing up a storm in Melbourne. …SINGAPORE: Taiwanese Mandopop star Jay Chou finally performed for fans at the National Stadium on Saturday (Dec 27). Originally set for Nov 8, the Singapore leg of his Opus 2 World Tour concert had to be postponed to allow the grass at the National Stadium pitch to grow.
Although tickets purchased for the original date were still valid for use at Saturday’s concert, many had to change plans due to the rescheduling. Others had to forgo the concert altogether, or find ways to sell off their tickets, as all refund requests had to be made by Nov 9.

Taipei – For Mandopop king Jay Chou, nothing less than a music video-worthy marriage proposal would do.
At a press conference yesterday for his new album, Aiyo, Not Bad, the pop star who is usually reticent about his love life spoke about his proposal to model-actress Hannah Quinlivan.
Chinese website Netease reported that Chou said he had spent a long time planning the proposal to ensure it was as sophisticated as a music video production. He popped the question in London with a romantic fireworks display and on bended knee. Quinlivan was said to have been moved to tears, although Chou maintained he kept a dry eye.

Taipei – The way to Jay Chou’s heart is through his mother, and Hannah Quinlivan has played all her cards right to become the Mandopop king’s bride-to-be.
Her status as the future Mrs Chou was all but confirmed on Monday, when he shared two photos of the couple on Weibo in their official online debut.
According to a new profile on the 21-year-old model on NetEase website, she has been careful in her four-year romance with the 35-year-old singer, gaining the support of his mother and getting her own family not to speak to reporters.

She did not give up showbusiness, however, and got a part-time job at Phantaci, a fashion store that counts Chou as an investor, said NetEase. She got to know another investor, a former classmate of Chou’s, who introduced her to the star because he found her lovely and pure.
So the two were introduced at a gathering and Chou grew closer to her as he got her to learn the piano, said NetEase.

It is official. In the lead-up to his rumoured wedding, Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou shared for the first time, photos of him and his model girlfriend, Hannah Quinlivan.
The 35-year-old singer-composer uploaded the photos of himself and Quinlivan, 21, to Weibo on Monday, Nov 17.
He wrote in the post: “After last night’s concert, I received many blessings and well wishes from fans… Seeing them bring their kids and family to the concert and sharing their joy with me, I am touched.
“It’s been 14 years, it’s time I shared my happiness with all of you.”

Taiwan star Jay Chou INTERROGATED by authorities at Australian airport
Jay Chou’s nanchakus were confiscated by Australian customs when he arrived in Sydney for his World Tour concert recently.
The nanchakus, meant to be used as props during his performance, were suspected to be weapons, reports Oriental Daily via AsianPopNews.
The Taiwan singer and his entourage were also interrogated by the authorities at the airport.

The King of Mandopop Jay Chou once again touched down in Sydney to perform one of his now exceptionally famous concerts and he didn’t disappoint his strong fan base in Australia. Jay is famous in the industry for having high expectations when it comes to performance, rehearsals and stage design and this was very obvious with the extreme choreography, pyrotechnics and band performance on display.
The Allphones Arena seemed full but the vacant seats was spread out so you couldn’t really see them. As with most Asian artist concerts the lights sticks were out in force providing a sea of purple. This resembled vast warriors waving around trying to swat imaginary flies and Jay Chou loved it. The show began with fire, fire and some more fire, while throwing in a couple of loud bangs and sparkles. If you like fire this would be the concert for you!
Jay sang a set of mostly his older songs and of course all of his fans screamed, waved around their glow sticks and lapped up every minute of his two hour stage time. The pure awe and wonder in his fans eyes was wonderful to see and I can understand why he continues to perform throughout the years. Who could walk away from those million puppy dog eyes.
Every song had it’s own dress change and new set of pyrotechnics and I assume most of the budget for this extravagant concert was spent on glitter and streamers. Along with the great visuals and stage set, his entourage was impressive with 8 male backup dancers and 6 females along with a full rock band and an acapella crew.
