‘She’s not my ex-girlfriend, for god’s sake!’ says Alvin Tan
Controversial sex blogger, who has fled to the US after skipping bail, reacts to Facebook users who shared news with him of Vivian Lee’s six-month jail sentence for sedition.

PETALING JAYA: While he has been active on Facebook, Alvin Tan has yet to say much over the jail sentence handed to his former partner, Vivian Lee, with regard to the “bak kut teh” posting deemed seditious.
Several Facebook users posted the news report of Lee’s court verdict today on Tan’s Facebook page and the controversial sex blogger briefly reacted to several of the posts.
In one comment, Tan only hashtagged the phrase “SorryNotSorry.”
A Facebook user asked him: “Do you know your ex Vivian has been sentenced to 6 months jail?”
Tan answered that Lee was not his ex-girlfriend.
“She’s not my ex-girlfriend, for god’s sake! My ex-girlfriend is Singaporean,” Tan replied.
In another posting, Tan made a remark about how an “alpha male keeps his woman in line.”
A Facebook user shared a link to Lee’s court verdict, with the comment: “No, this is how an alpha male keeps his woman in line.”
To that, Tan replied, “Har har har, funny…”

Vivian Lee gets six months’ jail for ‘Bak Kut Teh’ Ramadan greeting
Blogger Vivian Lee has been jailed for six months by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court after being convicted under the Sedition Act 1948.
Lee was convicted for a Ramadan greeting where she and her then-boyfriend Alvin Tan told Muslims to break fast with pork (bak kut teh), according to Bernama.
The sentence was passed down by Sessions Court judge Abdul Rashid Daud, who said it is to serve as a deterrent.
However, Lee will only need to serve five months and 22 days in prison as she had spent eight days in a lock-up, from July 18 to July 25, when she was first arrested in 2013.
The prosecution had pressed for up to two years’ jail for Lee but her lawyer cited good behaviour and clean prior record in asking for a lower sentence.
Lee could have faced a maximum fine of up to RM5,000 or three years in prison or both.
The sentence was stayed pending Lee’s appeal to the High Court.

First, You left without notice, leaving me behind to bear the brunt. Fine. I don’t hold that against you. All that matters to me is that you’re safe and sound.
Second, you didn’t have the slightest iota of courtesy to respond to any of the messages left by me and your family (when you became active online again), who have been fervently trying to reach you when you went off the grid in the previous months. Instead, you chose to correspond with inconsequentials, with the likes of people who have never cared for you or “fans” from your newfound “fame”. You have no fucking idea how much your mom and I suffered. We lost sleep and shed tears because we were worried and simply because we missed you. Those few months were bleak. Each passing day was like a crawl. Depression reared its ugly head. Tremendous emotional pain ensued. Yet….you can eat and sleep well neglecting the people who have cared and loved you…
As dismayed as I was by the aforesaid issues, I had wanted to move on with the delusion that our relationship had ended amicably, and associate our time together with sweet memories- something that was remarkably fun and wonderful (and I daresay badass!), while it lasted. However, your recent Facebook post was the last straw. You had the nerve and audacity to spread rumours about me despite those god-awful things you’ve done. I guess you must have ran out of sensational materials to post, that you have to prey on me and drag me in the mud? What a despicable and cheap way to garner attention. “Reliable” sources, huh? What are THESE sources if I may ask? Well played, Alvin Tan. I wish I still have the honour of sucking your balls as a reward for your noteworthy post. Unfortunately, I was deprived of the of the opportunity to do so as you’re so far away….
Oh wait, I’ve forgotten that your balls have shrivelled to the size of a peanut! Dear me! I guess we’ll have to make do with just a lick (when the opportunity arises) to prevent the possibility of me swallowing them since they’re now so adorably tiny and bite-sized.
And to those numbskulls who believed that that Ashley Madison (heck, I didn’t even know the existence of this website before this!) account is mine, I’ve nothing else to say but to say that you’re stupid and gullible enough to believe everything on the internet. If you’re butthurt from me calling you stupid that’s probably because:
1) You really believed that posting without any verification or evidence.
2) You probably are stupid.
Offended? Well, I’m an incredibly blunt person. I’m not going to change that nor am I going to apologise for hurting any “fragile hearts”, so, it’s either you deal with or just FUCK OFF.

Vivian to sex blogger Alvin Tan: ‘Stop spreading rumours’
PETALING JAYA: Vivian Lee has hit out at former boyfriend sex blogger Alvin Tan over allegations that she is offering escort services.
On her Facebook account on Friday, Lee replied with a scathing response titled “Dear Alvin Tan the Almighty”, stating that it was her “final act of love” as his allegation was “the last straw”.
“You had the nerve and audacity to spread rumours about me despite those god-awful things you’ve done.
“I guess you must have ran out of sensational materials to post, that you have to prey on me and drag me in the mud,” said Lee.
She questioned the veracity of his sources, and lashed out at netizens who believed in the authenticity of a screenshot purportedly detailing her escort service fees, adding that one should not be gullible to believe everything on the Internet.
Tan, who jumped bail to seek asylum in the United States, made the allegation in a Facebook posting on Thursday.

Sex blogger Alvin Tan claims Vivian offering escort services
PETALING JAYA: Sex blogger Alvin Tan has claimed that his then-girlfriend Vivian Lee is now offering escort services.
Tan, who jumped bail to seek asylum in the United States, made the allegation in a Facebook posting on Thursday.
“So my sources said that Vivian has now become an escort. Sigh… #SMH (Shaking My Head),” said Tan, who is now based in Los Angeles.
When Facebook user Desmond Chiew enquired if his source was Lee’s customer, Tan said it was “something like that” but maintained the confidentiality of his informant.
Another netizen, Owayne Khoo, asked if this meant the end of Tan and Lee’s Alvivi talkshow, to which the former replied in the affirmative.
“That was my favoritest part of the whole Alvivi adventure. More than the porn, the media limelight, the sex parties, etc.”
“In any case, I don’t communicate with Vivian anymore,” Tan added.

PETALING JAYA: Sex blogger couple Alvivi seems to be heading towards splitsville – going by the latest status update on their Facebook amidst accusations of cheating.
The couple, facing trial over an offensive Ramadan greeting, had on New Year posted: “Alvivi is going to split soon. Thanks for following us but this is the end. #ThatsIt.”
The pair’s relationship – which made headlines after they broadcasted their sexual exploits online – was said to be on the rocks after Alvin Tan, 25, found out that Vivian Lee, 24, had cheated on him with another man.
Tan reportedly said that he was “just about to throw in the towel because this had been happening again and again and again”.

Trouble in paradise for ‘Alvivi’

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 4 — What began with sex may now be ended by it. The relationship of former sex bloggers Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee is on the rocks over alleged infidelity, even as they are set to face trial in court next Wednesday over a Ramadan prank that had sparked public uproar.
Accusing Lee of having sex with others behind his back, Tan said he was ready to give up on their relationship over what he dubbed a violation of their rule to “swing” only in front of each other.
“I’m just about to throw in the towel, because this has been happening again and again and again,” Tan told The Malay Mail Online this week
“Even ‘non-exclusivity’ has degrees. Ours is a very measured, strictly-defined version, which means ‘only have sex with other people in front of each other, no hanky-panky behind’. If hanky-panky happened, disclosure is necessary. Of course, that’s easier said than done,” added the 25-year-old.
Although Tan and Lee ― known jointly as “Alvivi”, a contraction of their first names ― have swapped sexual partners throughout their nearly two years together, the former said that they remain emotionally exclusive to each other.
He acknowledged, however, the complications of their open relationship.

A post on the couple’s “Alvin and Vivian – Alvivi” Facebook page on Wednesday said: “Alvivi is coming going (sic) to split soon. Thanks for following us, but this is the end. #ThatsIt”.
But Lee told The Malay Mail Online yesterday that she is trying to save the relationship. While acknowledging that Tan caught her having sex with someone else on December 28, she said it was a “one-off thing”.
“I’m willing to do anything to salvage this relationship. I really do want to make up with him. We have been together for almost the course of two years,” she said.
“I feel my efforts are futile. He doesn’t seem to want to patch things up, but I want to,” said Lee, adding that Tan had also cheated on her in September.

On Lee’s own Facebook page, she wrote to Tan last Tuesday saying: “‘I’m very sorry for hurting you, betraying your trust, disappointing you and letting you down”.
“Yes, I admit that I may not be sexually exclusive to you (and I’m willing to change that) but I’m emotionally exclusive to you. I love and care for you more than you think,” wrote the 24-year-old.
Tan admitted that he has also cheated on Lee, but told The Malay Mail Online that he only did it after he found it “meaningless to stay exclusive to her”.
