#China‘s propaganda narrative that the US aims to “separate Xinjiang from China” is a LIE that contradicts reality.

Firstly, #EastTurkistan, which Chinese imperialists and colonists label as “#Xinjiang (The Colony/New Territory),” is NOT a “part of China”.

#EastTurkistan, historically known as Turkistan, existed as an independent nation until its forcible occupation and colonization by China. Since the Manchu Qing conquest of East Turkistan in 1877, the Uyghur and other Turkic peoples of the East Turkistan have steadfastly resisted Chinese occupation, striving to reclaim their rightful independence.

We successfully declared independence as the #EastTurkistanRepublic on November 12, 1933, until Soviet intervention in April 1934. Subsequently, we once again declared independence as the East Turkistan Republic on November 12, 1944, until the People’s Republic of China, under the Chinese Communists, forcibly overthrew our state on December 22, 1949. Since then, we have continuously resisted against Chinese occupation with the aim of restoring East Turkistan’s national independence.

Unfortunately, despite our appeals, the international community, including the US, has turned a deaf ear to our struggle to restore East Turkistan’s national independence.

However, China’s heightened paranoia, propaganda, and suppression tactics highlight one undeniable truth: the fervent desire of East Turkistanis to regain their independence strikes fear into China’s heart. We will never relent in our struggle to restore East Turkistan’s independence, regardless of whether the US or other powers choose to support us. The truth is on our side; East Turkistan is NOT a part of China, and truth will ultimately lead us to victory.
