Fake news posted by Fake News peddler James Cintolo, quoting The European Union Times, a post that is hardly credible, that 100% of COVID deaths in Canada now due to mRNA vaccine

..

Government of Canada: Up to and including January 6, 2023, a total of 400 reports with an outcome of death were reported following vaccination. Although these deaths occurred after being vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, they are not necessarily related to the vaccine.

Of the 400 death reports, it was not possible to assess causality for 104 reports due to missing information (not enough information to initiate causality assessment).

Preliminary causality assessment was possible for the remaining 296 cases where there was sufficient information. Using the available information and the WHO guidance on causality assessment specific to vaccinations, we’ve determined that:

  • 155 reports of death were unclassifiable due to lack of available information (not enough information to complete the preliminary assessment)
  • 97 reports of death were inconsistent with causal association to the vaccine (unlikely to be linked to the vaccine)
  • 40 reports of death were indeterminate (insufficient definitive evidence or conflicting evidence for causality)
  • 4 deaths were consistent with causal association to immunization (see ACCA webpage)

Racist Skinhead’s Wife Behind European ‘News’ Website

December 16, 2009

Larry Keller

The online news site European Union Times (EUT) — which recently “broke” a story about President Obama preparing for an imminent civil war — is being cited as a credible source by several libertarian bloggers who are hyping the story.

It turns out the EUT was created in October and is registered to the wife of a racist skinhead gang member who was involved in a bizarre stabbing incident last month.
.

The European Union Times isn’t exactly a venerable news source akin to, say, The Associated Press. It is registered to Jessica Nachtman, wife of Christopher Nachtman. [Editor’s note: After the initial posting of this blog item, Jessica Nachtman wrote Hatewatch to say that she merely provides Web hosting for “a European who lives abroad,” who she declined to identify further. She said she does not publish or modify any of the site’s content.] Christopher Nachtman is a former member of the neo-Nazi group National Alliance who more recently has been active in Volksfront, a racist skinhead group.

In October, Nachtman stabbed another man during an altercation at a luxury hotel in Palm Beach County, where Holocaust revisionist David Irving was giving a talk. No charges have been filed. The man who was stabbed, John Kopko, has also been involved in neo-Nazi activities in the past. Irving was quoted at the time as saying that Christopher Nachtman attended the event with his wife, Jessica, whom he said might open a bookstore and sell his books. The Nachtmans live in the semi-rural community of Loxahatchee in Palm Beach County, records show. [Editor’s note: In her note to Hatewatch, Jessica Nachtman described herself as a “White Racialist,” but not a Hitler worshipper. She said she “respectfully” quit the neo-Nazi White Revolution hate group after the stabbing incident and added that the white nationalist movement “is full of dirt bags, criminals, and unstable people,” along with a a few responsible and intelligent people.]

In the most recent report summary on Reported side effects following COVID-19 vaccination in Canada by the Government of Canada,

Government of Canada

Reported side effects following COVID-19 vaccination in Canada

Report summary updated January 20, 2023

  • A total of 96,432,067 vaccine doses have been administered in Canada as of January 6, 2023. Adverse events (side effects) have been reported by 53,611 people. That’s about 6 people out of every 10,000 people vaccinated who have reported 1 or more adverse events.
    • Of the 53,611 individual reports, 43,046 were considered non-serious (0.045% of all doses administered) and 10,565 were considered serious (0.011% of all doses administered).
    • Of the the 53,611 reports, 371 followed vaccination with a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine (0.0051% of Bivalent COVID-19 doses administered). 84 (0.0011%) were considered serious.
    • Most adverse events are mild and include soreness at the site of injection or a slight fever.
    • Serious adverse events are rare, but do occur. They include anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction), which has been reported 875 times (1 report per 100,000 doses administered) for all COVID-19 vaccines across Canada. That’s why you may need to wait for a period of time after you receive a vaccination so that you can receive treatment in case of an allergic reaction.
  • All serious adverse event reports undergo medical review to see if there are any safety issues needing further action. These processes include meeting regularly to review the data with provincial and territorial partners, the regulator, research networks and medical advisors. Any unexpected safety concerns are detected quickly and acted upon immediately.
  • Health Canada and PHAC are aware of the report released on Friday January 13, 2023 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on findings from the Vaccine Safety Datalink. This preliminary safety signal has prompted additional investigation into whether there is a safety concern between the Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent COVID-19 vaccine and ischemic stroke in people 65 years of age and over. The signal has not been found in other vaccine safety monitoring systems in the USA nor in other countries, including Canada. Health Canada and PHAC will continue to monitor this issue closely.
  • Adverse events may occur after being vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, but they are not necessarily related to the vaccine.
  • Evidence indicates that the benefits of COVID-19 vaccines continue to outweigh the risks of the disease.

.

  • Up to and including January 6, 2023, a total of 400 reports with an outcome of death were reported following vaccination. Although these deaths occurred after being vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, they are not necessarily related to the vaccine.
  • Medical case review previously used the WHO-UMC causality assessment categories to classify the status of death reports. Updated WHO guidance on causality assessment specific to vaccinations has been released. This updated user guide more accurately represents causality assessments following vaccination, so all reports with an outcome of death were updated and reclassified using the new classification system.
  • Of the 400 death reports, it was not possible to assess causality for 104 reports due to missing information (not enough information to initiate causality assessment).
  • Preliminary causality assessment was possible for the remaining 296 cases where there was sufficient information.
  • If additional information becomes available, cases will be re-assessed, and the causality assessment may be updated.
